Universal Life Church

The original interfaith church , contrary to all the haters the ULC is a real church, with a real church building that regularly holds services each week.
Not only am I an ordained priest of the ULC, they are chartering my Temple (Shrine of the Irish Oak Inc.) as a local ULC congregation, since we share the same zeal to protect freedom of religion for all.

I've spent my life involved with the ULC. From growing up in the office, to having my first job all while attending service on Sunday mornings (every Sun. at 10am). I adore the message and values of the church. I love that we accept everyone, no matter your beliefs or faith. I love that we have an open pulpit and the opportunity to learn and grow from each others experiences and messages. My grandfather was absolutely spot on with his teachings. If you're in Modesto and downtown (601 3rd St. Modesto, CA 95351) I hope you stop by for a service. We are one!!!

When I became Ordained into the Universal life Church, I was finishing my Law Degree, after which I became a Doctor of American Jurisprudence. Since then, 1982, I have become a Jodo Shin Buddhist and given the Dharma Talks. I have also successfully completed life in The United States of America, and am now long retired in Thailand. Meanwhile, I investigated and wrote the only biogrpahy of Edgar Allan Poe's Scottish Connectioons. I have a group on Facebook for that: Robert Burns, John Galt, and cousin Poe. This combined education in American and British Literature, Ameircan Law, and Religions give me a perspective of the Doctrines of the Universal Life Church, Inc., that only reinforce the validity of the decision to obtain my Credentials of Ministry with Reverend Henslay in the early w1980s. There are charlitans using the cover of this ministry, but aver not to be associated with the ULC of Reverend Henslay. Verify that it is Reverend Henslay's ministry in Modesto, California, with whom you are associating.

I have been an ordained minister from this church since february 2007. The experience have been wonderful as I sincerely believe that we are all one. And I respect and value the beliefs of others.

I just became an ordained minister through ULC. I can't wait to start marrying people. It was such an honor to be invited to officiate a wedding for some of my closest friends and ULC help make it happen. So very cool. Can't recommend high enough.

It's wonderful church with wonderful members, ministers and staff. Rev. Andre is a wonderful pastor and great leader. He is always there to take questions and to give answers. Sister Silva is also always there and will work with you through whatever. I'm glad to be a minister of this historical church.

I am celebrating my 8-year anniversary as an ordained minister with ULC this year and would love to visit this location to celebrate! (,I corrected my previous typo which said this is my 20-year anniversary. Does anyone want to take me there?

This is the physical location of the Universal Life Church, where you can become ordained online. It actually is a church and they hold regular church services on Sundays. During the rest of the week, they process paperwork in their back offices. If you visit and ask, they will ordain or re-ordain you in person.The staff is extremely nice.
