Great atmosphere they have a whole variety of antojitos from TostiLokos Fresas con crema banana dipped in a hard chocolate syrup to carnitas also a carniceria and much more, first time being there since I moved to the city of Visalia, it’s only a 15 minute drive, heard the masa for the tamales was great, I have high hopes on it.

I absolutely adore this place. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, it is all spot on. Every time I get a job and am routed through Farmersville, I always try to stop for a breakfast burrito or chili relleno or really anything from the hot food case. Thank you all for continuing a legacy that your folks started and making quality, authentic Mexican food for the community.

La mejor is by far one of the best places to get authentic Mexican food. This place brought back memories of my childhood favorites as places like this are not around. I was saddened to hear of the fire that destroyed the family owned business that had been opened for over 50 years.

La Mejor has left a new long lasting impression on me! It's the type of spot where you want to keep coming back as much as possible! I haven't gotten a wet burrito from here in a few years and so happened to see a recent review on "Yelp" saying how amazing and authentic it's gotten. So the wife and I got in the car and took a trip into Farmersville to rekindle our foodie relationship with this spot. My burrito was HUGE! COVERED in delicious Chili Verde sauce and cheese and the lovely lady who gave us our order even slipped in some sauces that complimented my burrito so we'll! The meat was tender with a nice char, the rice and beans were a perfect addition. Plus they have Mexican Cokes which in my opinion is the BEST tasting kind of coke. When you place your order at the counter they will give you a receipt, just take it to the main counter by the door to pay. Such an amazing staff and service! Can't wait to come back for my burrito fix!

Purchased masa for tamales and it was very well prepared. And the Mole sauce was very tasty

Something I found out today broke my heart FOREVER i just learned that la mejor burned down after a tragic fire that broke out luckily no body was injured but its still really sad to hear that my childhood place burned down.😭

Been eating here since I was a kid, and I love the food.

I really like that they have Mexican bread and bread for tortas. They also have cantaros and tasas de barro. The employees were friendly and the store was clean and organize. Lots of parking and they have a special place to sit and eat outside of the store.

Food is so good at La Mejor 💣 💣 💣 💣. Fresh, homemade tortillas with your food. To Go or you can eat there. They have seating area inside or seating outside that looks like a plaza in 🇲🇽 💣! They open early 😋. The best panaderia around. I am glad that I only live about 5 miles away. Highly recommended 👌

there food is excellent. its authentic homemade style mexican food. Fresh vibrant, dine in ,dine out, take out. you can call ahead of time and have your food hot and ready to take home. for holidays make sure to order at least 2 weeks in advance. they have sever varieties of homemade tamale's. My favorite is their cheese and jalapeno.

Went around noon expecting a lunch crowd. Busy, but running smoothly. Great tasting food (freshly baked pan dulce) meaty tamales were very good. Friendliest customer service around, they made sure I was being helped as I stood there waiting for my order. Aside from what I went for, they do have a small grocery store with a variety of Mexican products. Plenty of tables to eat on the covered patio.

I've been looking for a Mexican restaurant like this since moving to Tulare County. Everything about our order was off the hook. Thank you LA Mejor for making outstanding food.

If you're in the town Farmersville, and in need of some tasty and delicious food, stop by La Mejor and be pleasantly surprised. My wife and I were on our way home, and decided to pick up some food. My wife had a burrito de chicharron and I had 2 of the fish tacos with everything. She enjoyed her burrito, and I devoured my fish tacos. Wow. La Mejor does not skimp on the food. I was having trouble deciding from which end to start eating my tacos. They were huge. Added plenty of salsa roja, and really enjoyed them. La Mejor has a large menu, and they also have a great selection of other items you may need to cook your own meals at home. Give them a visit and enjoy a great meal.
