Maximo's Taqueria visalia

This place is a little too quiet I could here myself chew. A little music wouldn't hurt. However, the food was really good. The taco bowl was huge and delicious, shrimp cocktail was really good and tasty. Tacos were tacos but the meat was delicious. You would think it's a little on the expensive side but you could spend just as much a jack and the food isn't as good. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic food and great prices. Food was made to order and fast. We really enjoyed the burrito bowl and nachos.

Customer service was excellent. Food was full of delicious flavors. Definitely will dine in again.

Super good tacos, but would be even better with some radish, onions, or cilantro. The meats are cooked perfect. The asada fries are top knotch.

Had a great experience eating my sope and 2 tacos de asada you really do get what you pay for the sope was super loaded with meat and veggies and the staff is friendly and greets you like family

My husband and I are new to Visalia and went in for the first time and was really impressed ! Very good customer service and the food was amazing !!!! They did not disappoint . Will be returning for more.

Finally a place to go sit down and enjoy some delicious Mexican food. The asada burrito bowl was huge. So was the asada burrito. I had the 3 asada tacos and together we shared the guacamole chips and salsa (both not shown). The food was absolutely delicious. Our order was finished quickly, the service was very nice and very helpful. A nice, cool little restaurant to enjoy some great Mexican food. I highly recommend.

I ordered three el pastor tacos 🌮 they are served with a slice of fresh lime. I do not eat a lot of meat and I was skeptical about ordering these tacos but, man I'm so glad I gave them a try. They have a really good flavor. I ordered chips and green salsa. The chips were served hot, and were a little thicker and I loved them. Washed it all down with a watermelon lime Agua Fresca. I live in Tulare and drove to Main Street Visalia just to try this restaurant, they did not disappoint. Yes. I would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

Y’all I’ve been meaning to write this for awhile now. This place is BOMB. Freshest food, super reasonable prices, everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, friendly employees, clean AF. I just had an asada taco, overfilling with steak, onion and cilantro plus two which is four corn tortillas packed with cheese and I added onion and cilantro, comes with creama on the side no charge. Also no charge to add o & c ?! Four containers of salsa… get this it was $6.26 😳 inflation who? Not at Maximos. Go there! Support local
business! Protect them at all costs!

This place has the best Mexican food in town hands down. There was a little bit of a wait but was worth it. The staff even offered us some ice cream for the long wait. Ice cream was off the chain and made in house! Prices are great for the portions too.

The food was so delicious , it was amazingly good , I can't stop thinking about it , my grandson said this food is a 10 out of 10!

This place never disappoints. We started off at the Porterville restaurant when I worked in the area. Then when they opened the Visalia one downtown same quality of food and the kid doesn’t complain about the food so it’s a win win situation. Asada never tasted as if it’s reheated like other places. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat or for a family meal trip.

Picked up the Carnitas Burrito Bowl and Asada Fries. Both were great with generous amount of meat in each. Highly recommend imo.

They make their own chips! The nachos are awesome due to the homemade chips, the guacamole is stupid good also.

Place is nice and clean with parking not an issue being on the edge of the downtown area. The Asada fries are my favorite that I've had so far around here. Their Asada tacos were okay but it's at least $6 for 3. Tacos shouldn't be more than $2 so it's nice one place isn't over charging. Horchata was chalky but could've been since we had gotten it before closing. A lot better than most places around here that have 4 stars or more for whatever reason. For a Mexican restaurant around here, it's a 5 star.

Food portion and price is very reasonable. The food is also very delicious, made with fresh ingredients! Also I recommend the ice cream!! If you do not go for the food, go for the ice cream. The ice cream flavor menu change daily or weekly. You can ask for sample too.

The staff is super friendly and patient. This was our first visit to Maximo's and we were undecided on what to order. The meat selection is kinda limited, but the food is absolutely delicious! We got an asada burrito, a carnitas burrito and a tripa taco. It is definitely a place we will return to eat.

This is a fast food taqueria, but clean and bright, with fresh, local, tasty food. It is clearly a favorite of the workers from the hospital nearby.

Best Authentic Mexican Food I've Found So Far! They're Shrimp Tacos Are To Perfectly Put Together. Staff Was Super Friendly. They Are Very Busy At Times So Be Patient
