Jacquetta is an artist with amazing talent, but she does her art with the customer in mind. I love how she makes me look. She enhances my natural color. There is no harsh line when color grows out. I get compliments long after my appointments. She also styled my hair for my son's wedding. 14 hours later my hair was still amazing. She did the make-up for the bridal party and their natural beauty was just enhanced. Just lovely. I highly recommend for every day hair and special events.

We recently enjoyed a mother/daughter afternoon at The Hive Style Collective. The salon itself is exquisite, very classy, and chic. The salon’s owner Jacquetta worked on my mother’s hair, she was very pleasant, communicative, and highly skilled at her craft. Best of all Jacquetta was a great listener, and visionary. Jacquetta has been my hair dresser for over 20 years. No one can style my curly hair like she does! (Besides Tosha!) when Jacquetta opened the Hive we excitedly followed her. Have been hearing great things about The Hive for years! Normally I’ve only seen women + men’s styles done here, but a friend suggested I take my 3 year old son, because I was feeling anxious about his first haircut. He’s normally very sensitive to new places, unfamiliar sounds, etc. They were so kind, patient, and friendly! It was such a fantastic experience, I would recommend them over and over. They were very easy to schedule with, the studio space is stunning, and they were all so accommodating to us.

I have been coming to Jacquetta for a year now and after my proper hair education on hair care my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been. Jacquetta and staff always make me feel welcome and the atmosphere is calming and beautiful. My 5 year old daughter also comes to Jacquetta and she leaves feeling like a queen with special attention to her age and making it a fun experience. Love this salon 💇‍♀ !!

This salon is absolutley beautiful!! Not to mention the Drybar to go along with it. Jacquetta is amazing with my hair. I have very straight hair, so it has to be cut very precise or you can see any mistakes and every time I leave her chair my cut is just perfect. Shes always consulting me on how care for my long hair. So thankful I found her!!

The Hive has such an eclectic, relaxed atmosphere. It is located in downtown Exeter, which offers many amenities such as coffee and pastries, right new to the Hive salon. Jacquette has such an amazing technique for cutting hair. I have gotten so many compliments on how my hair looks. I will never go anywhere else
