I’ve been meaning to add a review after taking my Mercedes Metris here for a regular maintenance visit. After getting a outlandish quote from the dealer I called and made an appointment after speaking with the owner David. I was very pleased with his expertise and explanation over the phone. When I brought in the van I spoke with his son. He was very personable and kind. I was extremely pleased with the service and the price! It’s hard today to find a good, reputable mechanic today who doesn’t charge you an arm and a leg. David is fair, trustworthy and honest. Will be bringing my van here again.

Took our Mini Cooper in for some work/diagnostics. Dave was very honest with us and let us know that the amount of work to be done did not really make sense in relation to the worth of the car. I love this place! Dave helped my husband out with his AC a while back and he told me to go see The German Auto Doctor for my Z3. This is a small family business that is very professional. I was totally taken care of. The pricing was absolutely fair. The service however, was over the top! He seriously just handled everything for me. I will never use anyone else. Just go here....that's all :)

Dave is a gem and must be protected at all costs! Had a running issue with my E63 AMG that 3 other shops could not diagnose. The issue was a loose air mass that David found within the blink of an eye. The car runs beautifully now! In a world where honest mechanics are a rarity, David is the real deal! For any German car needing maintenance I highly suggest David! You won't regret it!

I am a owner of a BMW X5 Diesel, and was having issues with the sensors and passing smog. I took my SUV to over at least 3 different mechanics who were experts, not one could fix the issues my particular suv was having. Then I met Dave through a smog check place I went, and wow he was able to fix my car exactly in time frame he said he would and quick and very fair price. I passed smog my check engine lights have been cleared and never came back. I highly recommend Dave to anyone having any issues like mine.

I had previously taken my vehicle to another mechanic shop and had my water pump replaced. 4 months later it started leaking again. I took my Audi A4 to David and he quickly inspected my vehicle and showed me how they cracked the housing when they originally installed it.

He was able to give me a awesome quote for the amount of work that my vehicle needed and he was very professional. Hands down the best experience I have ever had. Knowledgeable, kept me in the loop the whole time, didn't replace anything that honestly didn't need to be replaced, fair prices, fair rates, top quality work. Friendly and really great place to take your vehicle. My 2003 911 Porsche has never been treated so well. It is the only place I will be taking my cars from now on.

My experience with Dave was top notch. I'm not very comfortable taking my BMW to be worked on anywhere BUT a BMW service center. I was referred to The German Auto Dr. by a friend and decided to meet Dave. He proved to be EXTREMELY knowledgeable, polite and professional. As is such, I had him replace my cracked radiator, valve cover, headlight control unit and head light. Dave also performed services well above and beyond that which he quoted--FREE OF CHARGE! All of this work was done at a fraction of the cost that BMW would have charged. Car is running like a beast now. He has earned my trust and a client for life.

2007 Porsche Targa 4S new to me....I have not even got the car back, but Dave is great at communication! I am pretty sure that everything will work out as discussed. He is also conscious about costs as well which is nice!

Last year I purchased my life-long dream car, a 2004 Porsche 911. I was able to find a pristine model at a local dealership. The car drove fine, no issues until I spotted a small oil leak. I took it in to Dave and Mondo - they diagnosed the problem as a main rear seal and suggested I do the 30K maintenance since there was no evidence of it having been done. They were awesome explaining the entire process and called me over to inspect the seal failure. They also mentioned that the clutch was worn down. They repaired it all and the car now drives like it's brand new - the clutch is smooth, the power band is noticeably better. Better than when I drove it off the lot. They were honest and fair at a reasonable price. Great guys and I will never take this car anywhere else.

I recently purchased my first Audi after being an ex bmw tech and only driving bmws for the past decade or more, i went searching a repair shop that was more familiar with Audis than I was. That's when i found The German Auto Doctor. We got to talking for awhile and Dave even let me put my car up on the rack to inspect it together. Long story short, after being in the business myself i felt very comfortable with letting Dave do the work on my vehicle. It was easy to tell that he knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable and will do the best to repair your vehicle the right way. On top of that the prices were beyond fair and the service was great. I've found my goto shop for things that I cant do myself in the garage.

I was a Rolls Royce, Land Rover tech for 40 years. I now drive a 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo. I changed out the front seats and ran into a problem. Called many shops in the Los Angeles area to try and get a answer to my problem and then I found Dave at German Auto Doctor. He was the most knowledgeable tech I have talked to in a long time. Last year I decided to buy a 20 year old Mercedes Benz G Wagen. It is getting to the point where collectors are buying these cars. It came with the expected issues of a 20 year old car, valve cover gasket was leaking, or was running g rough, the transmission shifter would not go into the lower gears, the doors would not lock and unlock with the remote, the moonroof did not open, and and few other things.

I checked around my town to see if anyone had experience working on these cars. I had no luck. I ended up at the Mercedes dealer. I ended up waiting for over a month and stopped by a couple of times to check on the repairs. Both times they had me talk to the lead mechanic. He complained that they did not have the diagnostic software and that they were trying this and that and that they had called Germany and some other excuses. I ended up with an enormous bill and only about three repairs.

A few weeks later, the car started running poorly again. I took it to another mechanic and he told me the work don’t at the dealer was shoddy. He kept it two weeks and I got another large bill.O bounced around a couple of other mechanics and a couple of more large bills without any success.

Then things got very scary–the transmission stopped shifting. Went back to the same shops and more bills without a solution .

Then one day I cane across an advertisement for the German Auto Doctor. David was the answer to my prayers. David diagnosed all the issues and went out of his way to find the difficult to find parts that were needed–HE FIXED ALL THE PROBLEMS. He was communicative through the repair process. And the bill? Completely reasonable. Completely professional. I am so happy I found the German Auto Doctor. One day I was out on the road and had a problem with the window not going up. Over the phone he gave me a fix that worked–AMAZING! Now he does all the work on my other cars. I would not go anywhere else. Now I recommend him to all my friends. I give them the highest recommendation. If you have a German car or any Europpean car, bring it to David. He is the best–THE VERY BEST!
