I went there for the meat department because I'd heard so many good things about it from other people. I was not disappointed. There were butchers there who knew what they were doing. Gorgeous meat display! This whole store is immaculate, clean floors, well cared for. Helpful cashier when I checked out. This store chain is a California gem.

Firstly, I love stater brothers for their meat counter. It's huge and has so many great cuts and pre-marinated items. I don't think I ever buy prepacked meat there! I go to the amazing counter with great customer service. BUT this review is about their bakery. This is the second year we've gotten bday cakes from here and we're really impressed both times. They have a huge book of amazing elaborate pre-order cakes, but this sonic cake they did on the fly. Just sent them a picture and they added patterns on the sides and everything! Really went above and beyond for a short turn around cake. How awesome is this!? And the price is great!!

First time and I was impressed. The store is clean, organized and nice! The aisles are wide with shelves neatly stocked. Came in for chicken wings, which were unfortunately sold out, but I understood seeing that many people go because of the meat dept.

I forgot how nice it is in there! There are a few foods I like that Costco and Albertson's just don't have. Whatever they don't, Stater Bros. seems to, with few exceptions. Everyone there was friendly, and the checkout was fast. Prices are also comparable! Some higher, some lower, all reasonable, considering the state of the world and cost of food these days.

This is one of the best grocery stores I’ve ever shopped at. Their customer service is top-notch, from the cashiers to the folks in the meat dept. to the staff you meet in the aisles. Everyone is not just friendly, but competent. They’re willing to help and know how to do so.

By comparison, we used to shop at a closer, larger grocery chain. I don’t want to mention names, but it rhymes with “Vons”. Our experience there, while positive at first, declined rapidly and for some time, prompting our move the wonderful Stater Bros. on Los Angeles Ave.

I think the real evaluation came when the pandemic hit (this is being written in 2020, before the asteroid hits). This Stater Bros. really stayed on top of things, from quickly limiting the quantities purchased (I’m looking at you, toilet paper!) to restocking as quickly as possible. Maintaining the proper flow of commerce does not happen by accident, and not only did this store ensure that happening, but did it in a way that met the needs of their community.

First time in a Stater Bros. And I was impressed. Very clean & well stocked. They also had the cash registers well staffed with polite employees. Well except for the kid bagging my groceries who said “No problem” when I said thank you. Sure glad it wasn’t a problem. Could have bagged them myself if I would have images the problems. Kids.

Nice staff, clean, well organized store, and wide isles for easy shopping

I love everything about this store. It is clean, well-organized and well managed. To give you an example, a while ago I wrote a letter to the corporate office making a minor recommendation—and within a week their corporate President telephoned me and made the appropriate correction. I am retired, formerly in business and it is obvious that this is a company that is cognizant of matters. A pleasure to shop at your Simi Valley store. Finally the store manager is wonderful!

Absolutely love coming to this store! It is always super clean and organized, most things are usually in stock and the staff always friendly. If you like sushi, I highly recommend trying them out! The chefs there are so sweet and will custom make orders. Plus, it’s very fresh tasting and reasonably priced compared to other grocery stores! There’s not usually much of a wait checking out. Overall, haven’t had a bad experience yet!

Nice big store with a nice selection of practically everything. The bakery and deli are very basic, though.

This one of my favorite places to shop. Always clean, well stocked even at the height of the pandemic they still had more on their shelves than most of not all of the other stores I went to. The employees are ALWAYS polite and helpful. Their prices are always the lowest with the highest quality. I feel like my money and my time is not wasted when I shop with Stater Bros. Thank you for your quality and dedication of you and your team to meeting your neighborhood needs!

I love going grocery shopping here. They usually have a very good selection of items and I don’t think there was one time they didn’t have what I needed in stock on the shelves, or in the back. The staff and customer service is very helpful and friendly. It is at a convenient location. Even their bakery items are very good. Prices are competitive and affordable and definitely much better than Albertsons, which I’ve found to be super pricey. Recommend it

I had birthday cakes made, 3 different ones and they were the finishing crown at the party!!

This is the cleanest, best staffed, and most friendly grocery store in Simi Valley. I almost hate to provide this review because I don't want anybody else to shop in the store because I enjoy it so much! All the employees are professional, happy to answer questions, and always smiling and happy. I can't wait to go shopping here again!

Awesome fresh clean and very organized. I have never been before. Their prices are WAY better then Ralphs!

The first stop, the Sushi counter to get lunch. Cindy asked if she could make me something, l told her l like the salmon combo. Since there were none in the cooler, she made me a fresh one. Cindy was very helpful and made me a wonderful combo!

While waiting for my lunch, l stopped by the meat counter to talk about fresh turkeys. We are a small family and we like our fresh raw turkey cut into 8 pieces. The butchers were so nice and accommodating to my needs! Everyone in the meat department are so nice and helpful! This store is the best!

I enjoy shopping at this local Stater Bros. Market so much, I am there practically every day and I would consider myself a regular. Their bakery is phenomenal and tastes delicious, especially the big french bread loafs and chocolate frosted donuts they bake fresh everyday. The employees are helpful and friendly and the store always looks clean and organized. They have normal prices for most everything and great selections on everyday items from cat food to enhanced water. I never leave that store unsatisfied and that is why I gave them my best rating.
