Indy Food Mart

Q22019This is a great little one stop gas and beer stop. If they don’t have it, I probably don’t need it. Staff is friendly, down to earth and happy to help you. Prices are reasonable compared to any other gas station. Plus they have a great Indian food selection.

For what it is, this place gets 5 stars. Sure, I wish they had a bigger selection of Indian food items, but perhaps that will come in time. You really have to give credit to them for maximizing the space they have though. I was looking for a couple harder to find ingredients, and I definitely found them there. All of the food items where well within their sell by dates, the place was spotless, and the gentleman behind the counter was very kind. I will definitely make it a point to go back.

Great place with awesome people! It’s one of the only gas stations on pines or Sprague that IS NOT creepy.

Normally the cheapest gas in town. Customer service has always been great there...

One of the few places in Spokane where you could find the Indian food staples.
nothing fancy just the regular things like flour, rice, lentils, spices and a few good frozen desserts and breads .. :)

Very less varieties of Indian groceries. Limited options.

People do not speak good English, and don't seem very knowledgeable about their job.

I needed to refill my gas tank, so I pulled into Indy Food Mart. Unfortunately, the card reader at the pump was not working correctly, prompting me to go inside the store. It took a frustrating three attempts before my card was finally accepted. As I was leaving the store, I received a call from my bank, alerting me to a potential fraud alert. It turns out the cashier overcharged me by $75. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Indy Food Mart in the future.

I'm not sure what good I have to say about this place. I live not even half a block away but I'd rather waste gas to go to another place that does things like clean their soda nozzles and lines and don't do things like tack on an extra .50 cents at the end of every transaction ( the last time I went it happened to the guy in front of me too). The lady, I presume owner, asked me one time what she could do to make this my regular spot. At this point NOTHING is.
Here's an added incident.
My roommate just went there for an energy drink. The tag underneath the drink said $3.29 but when he got to the register they said 4.79 was the total even though the register said 4.29. After showing them the price was reduced. Why are these people permitted to even stay in business? I would love to get together with some concerned citizens and report them to the board of commerce. They shouldn't be allowed to stay in business.
