After two places suggesting I needed new shocks$$, Jason checked and let me know my shocks weren’t currently leaking. He actually showed me my shocks and explained what I was looking at. It's always a bummer right to have to take your vehicle in for repairs. You just know it's never gonna be good news. Like having a colonoscopy or wisdom teeth pulled, with no sedatives an no insurance. OUCH!! But heading to Pete's, after consulting with receptionist, an talking to mechanic there, it just felt like sincere honestly an no BS. They were true to their word. Their rates are fair, the quality of service is epic. I'm just so glad I took time to find Pete's.

Came in for a pre-purchase inspection, they made sure I was informed on the value of the car and checked smog history and gave me an overview of everything, even found evidence of a repair not on carfax, which was fine. Fantastic service, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

They were kind enough to really listen to a strange new noise in my engine (like really, using a stethescope to pin down the location) and didn't charge for doing so.
