Barney Trucking

Barney trucking is a great company to work for, I live many miles from where I actually drive for them and they make sure Iv had a place to stay so I can be close to work, all the folks from the area manager safety and supervisors and everyone else Iv spoken with have all treated me like a person not just a driver number. Soon The contract at morenci will be over but there will be other driving opportunities at Barney, with Barney when there’s a will there’s a way.

I’ve been driving Southern Utah/AZ/NV roads pretty heavily from my personal vehicles to large trucks for the company last 10 years. Nothing shoots a shiver down my spine like a BT truck. I’ve seen everything over the years on weekly basis Whether it’s going 10-15 over the posted speed limit with 2-3 trailers and running other drivers nearly off the roads or most commonly rocks jumping down the interstate reeking havoc behind them because of a un-secured load. The Drivers probably love this company so much because it’s one of the only trucking companies that don’t hold their drivers accountable at all! Seriously not the type to go out of my way.. but one of their trucks finally chipped the windshield of my personal vehicle. I would guess (not over exaggerating) 25% of regular southern Utah drivers have had their cars chipped by one of these trucks.
