As a professional working with someone involved in a DCFS case, the lack of communication has been disheartening. I've left repeated messages for a caseworker for a couple of weeks and reached out to a supervisor, neither of which have returned calls or emails after ample time. The client feels frustrated as do I. I think the mission of DCFS is an important one, but if services are going to be recommended and then there's an unwillingness to talk to the service provider the client must engage with (and whom DCFS requires reports from), why recommend it? It's not fair to the client nor the provider to not have continuity of care.

Baffled at the fact there are no protocols in giving updates on cases. I am constantly calling the caseworker in charge of a case here and she never returns my calls. I can't even leave a message because her voice-mail inbox says full everytime and just disconnects my call. Like seriously? Really hoping time is on the child's side here because otherwise this case isn't going to end in favor of the child with the kind of "urgency" here.

They're pathetic! Absolute misandry and ignorant people!
