This place is no longer Kitchen Spokane. The former owner, Jaime, passed away.
It is now A prep Kitchen and has a new owner. She used to manage kitchen Spokane but had no involvement with the underhanded practices of the past. She refused to break the law and was let go. She really cared about the clients which is why she bought the business rather than see it shut down. She didn't want those who relied on the kitchen for their lively hood to be left with no way to continue. She is hands on and always available in case there is a problem with the kitchen or its equipment. The client is responsible for cleaning up after using the kitchen and when they neglect to do that, she takes care of it either by cleaning it herself or compensating the client who was inconvenienced by the people before them who left the mess.
The bottom line with her is communication is key. Talk and she will listen.

This company deserves more than 5 stars.
Been a client with them for over a year and they bend over backwards do accommodate their clients.
Any issues or concerns have always been addressed immediately by the kitchen manager or Jayme to owner. They have gone above and beyond for us and I am forever thankful. Highly recommend them!!!

A place to go to for your huge baking needs.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THEM! I would 100% avoid this company if you can! After my agreement with them was over, I stopped using them.

#1 the kitchens are dirty, everything is broken.
#2 paying $5 a day for storage, is ridiculous.

Once my agreement with them was over, a couple months later I get a bill for $250, I didn't owe them anything. I emailed them letting them know my agreement was up and I didn't owe money. They insisted I did. I said I didn't and I wouldn't pay it.

THEN a week later I get a call from their "lawyer" saying I owed $1000 and I needed to pay asap to avoid court. I laughed because it's ridiculous, it quadrupled somehow. He literally screamed at me that I needed to take this seriously I was being sued. Then he hung-up on me.

I got an email a few days later demanding the $1000. I sent over all my documentation proving I didn't owe anything, they said I did, back and forth, back and forth like this for a couple of weeks. FINALLY I proved I didn't owe them any money, in-fact they owed me my $100 "refundable" deposit for not destroying the kitchen. Once it was all in emails and irrefutable that they owed me that money and I owed them nothing, they left me alone. They never returned my deposit. I should take them to small claims court for it, I just don't have time to fight over $100.

I am convinced that any positive reviews for them are from friends or family. This is THE WORST company in Spokane. It's a shame because it could be a great resource for small businesses, but they really just try to scam and scare money out of people. They have a "lawyer" who will call and threaten you with court if you don't pay, scream at you and call you names, even when you show proof you don't owe money.

If you do have to use them, Because you have no other choice. KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING!! DOCUMENT EVERY HOUR, EVERY DOLLAR. They will come knocking for more money and try to bully you out of it. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THEM!

Worst company I’ve ever done business with. Just found out they’re suing me over a past due balance of $273. That’s for 4 months of use at $66 a month, even though I’ve never even used their kitchen. They’re suing me for over $1600. It’s all ridiculous. Greedy is an understatement. Be careful doing business with them, as soon as you miss a payment, they’re after you and for much more than you owe. “Giving back to the community”? Yea right. Taking from the community is more like it.

IVE NEVER USED THE KITCHEN. What does your “nonprofit organization” have to do with me? But I paid the first month anyway and forgot to pay the rest. Hard to remember to pay for something you don’t use. And when I did go to pay it I wasn’t able to because you had already consulted some attorney and took my ability to pay what I owed away.

You charge $25 a month plus $5 A DAY in late fees. So you charged me for something I didn’t use then charged me a ridiculous amount of money for not paying for what I didn’t use. Makes perfect sense.

I get that I signed a contract and I should have read it more thoroughly but I never thought I would be faced with something as ludicrous as this. This is PURE GREED. You ARE NOT giving back the community. You’re taking advantage of people trying to start a successful small business. You are what’s wrong with the world.

The worst organization i have ever worked with.
They sold a month to month setup but what they don't tell you is that if you dont use 4hrs a month it gets secretly charged to an account that you dont have access to and never once receive a notification from about your bills. Unbeknownst to me it went to a collections agency employed by them and i am harassed DAILY and threatened by them with legal action. I have been in contact with the operators MONTHLY since i used them one time a year ago and not once did they tell me i had anything past due; only that if i wanted to come back i had to pay a refundable $100 security deposit.
They blamed it on their billing company and did absolutely nothing whatsoever to resolve it and said it's "out of their hands". If you can't afford to own your own restaurant and are renting space to get started these are the WORST people to do business with.

I stopped opening emails from your establishment and answering phone calls because they contained the same invoice and information that you had informed me of before. I've attached those invoices as photos to this review as well. You did NOTHING to inform me or bill me what i OWED you whatsoever over the entire year besides a CLEARLY STATED IN YOUR INVOICE $100 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT I COULD PAY IF I CAME BACK.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I RECEIVED A BILL FOR ALMOST 3000$ AND I NEVER USED THIS KITCHEN. I HAD PLANNED TO BUT IT WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND THE ONLY KITCHEN AVAILABLE TO ME HAD A SEWAGE SMELL IN IT AND I WAS UNABLE TO USE IT... THIS COMPANY IS NOT THERE TO HELP AT ALL!!!!!! FRAUDULENT AND OVERCHARGING SMALL BUSINESSES WHO ARE TRYING TO GET OFF THE GROUND... I'M DONE WITH SPOKANE AND THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS IN THIS AREA!!!!
