Gardens On University

My interview for a position was friendly, paperwork efficiently handled, HR staff was ready with valid questions about myself, my experiences in healthcare, The atmosphere of the facility was happy, friendly, COVID 19 precautions on hand for visitors and staff if needed, clean and organized. An awesome introduction to the facility and its residents and staff.

Important to know…this may be an older facility but every person we came in contact with who works here is friendly, competent, caring and patient-based. We know our grandmother/mom is in good hands by attentive and compassionate people. That is what matters most. We have peace of mind when we’re not able to be there. Priceless!

I have pleasantly enjoyed working at the Gardens for over a decade. I have met many great people and have had many great experiences. I have spoken to many people in the LTC community and many people's first reaction is "Oh you work there." But I always ask them, "Have you ever been there?" The simple answer for them is "no." They just believe what gossip they heard and other exaggerated negative experiences that some may have had. I wouldn't still be here if it wasn't a decent place to work with a great team that cares about the people we are there for.

This is an exciting, fun place to work. The managememt staff care about their employees. They understand what it is like to be a single parent, a student, or if you have another job, they will work with you instead of against you. They offer incentives for extra shifts worked and make sure there os consistency for the residents you take care of. The wage is competitive for the area and type of facility. Their attendance policy is enforced so everyone is held accountable and treated like adults. I would recommend The Gardens for CNAs. The staff all care about the resdidents and treat them as they would their own family members. Many staff and residents have developed a lifetime bond. Residents are respected, loved and cared for with their individuality in mind. I would recommend anyone with a loved one, that need a little more help then home can provide, to have the staff at The Gardens care for them.

A new operating company with an aggressive commitment to quality and accountability has translated into marked improvements in both clinical and ancillary services. The Gardens has become a focus for how the company hopes to shape it's foothold in the industry, with recruitment and retention of only the best employees a clear priority. It is an exciting time for both staff and Residents at the Gardens.

This place is great. It has a worm atmosphere. The CNAS are awsome they go above and beond for any body. The nurses and management are great. They care about there people and the place they work. When you walk in this place and see the resadints smile it worms your heart. I have not ever seen this at any other place. My mom realy loves the staff here. She is always smiling like she used to. Thank you to the staff at the guardens.

Very friendly and accommodating as soon as I arrived. Even being shown throughout the building was a great experience.

Jackie was attentive and got me checked in quickly. Amber is very sweet on the phone.

You can tell everyone cares for the residents. The management is great and works with flexible schedules. They even have their own NAC training program.

Mom has moved in today. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Hands on activities. Very pleased. Thank you!!!

Great place to work, caring staff, great benefits, flexible schedules. I just came back to work here and could not be happier with the changes that have been made to the management staff.

This place gives you a lot of praise for employees they are caring for their residents as well as employees. I would recommend this job to all of my family 😁

The guy was busy, but still directed us . He took the time to help out, and it wasn't his job.
