Black Lake Bible Camp has had a profound impact on me, both as a camper and then later as a young adult who spent summers working by the lake. It's beautifully set, but more than that, is full of people who will care for your needs and help make sure your camping experience is great. What impresses me most about the place has been the consistency with which I have experienced it over the last 15 years.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY!! It is so convievently located close to I-5/Olympia. It is a perfect location to feel secluded, but is no farther then a 10 minute drive off of the free way.

The staff is accommodating, helpful, friendly, and yet they are respectful of privacy.

The cabins located to the office were cozy and were like little homes. So cute... the heater in my cabin didn’t work, but I found a space heater in the closet.

The food is honestly the best camp food...and I have worked at camps in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Colorado... There weren’t a lot of choices at Black Lake, but at least it was tasty. The salad bar was AWESOME. Many fresh choices like blueberries, bacon, carrots, mushrooms, seeds, cucumbers, etc. I

We took our young people here for winter camp. They had a fantastic time. Great worship, great facilities and soda at meal times!

It was really awesome.

Great place to have a camp and big enough for about 400 to 500 people. Staff is okay, but can be a bit short with campers. Food is satisfactory but nothing to rave about.
Activities are well organized and planned
for the most part the day of departure it was absolutely more about us leaving than any games or activities.

Black lake bible camp will have a forever impact on me. I have learned that in your farthest space from god he will still find you. And I have learned so many things about myself as well. Black lake bible camp brought me out of my shell and I will never forget any moment of my expirence of black lake bible camp. The food is also top notch I have been going to camps since I can remember it is so much better then other camps. I have just 1 thing. Please add curtains to the tee pee doors it’s so uncomfortable to have to cover them when people are changing. Other than that, if you are looking for a good camp to take your kids this is the place. This is my home away from home. Keep doing what your doing ❤ Can’t wait to see you this year at middle school camp!

I have both attended camps and worked on staff at BLBC since the early '70s. Many of the friends I made there are still my friends today, despite any geographical distance. As an adult, I bring my family to Family Camp every summer and we always look forward to it. Family Camp is a great family vacation: lots of fun things to do, good food to eat that you don't have to cook, time outside in the fresh air, and very safe for the kids. What makes it even better than a traditional family vacation is that you also make new friends and catch up with old ones, and can worship and grow in the Lord together. My youngest daughter also attended High School Camp for 3 summers and absolutely LOVED it! I started attending the fall Women's Retreats about 3 years ago and really enjoy those times as well - a time to relax, to grow, to learn something new, and to enjoy the fellowship with other Christian women. Can't wait to go back!

Going to Black Lake has always been a highlight for my family. We’ve participated in day camp and family camp since 2009 and have loved every minute. The staff is friendly and helpful and the grounds are so beautiful. When we step onto the camp property we immediately breathe deeply and feel life’s stressors fade away. Defiantly check out the camp!

I’ve been going here for a long time. Literally the best place ever. 100 out of 10. My home away from home away from home. The food is amazing, beautiful views, amazing staff, very organized, old fashioned yet modern, very homey. I love tubing there and their waterfronts are amazing. Very fun place to visit. Many different activities available like boating, archery, crafts, etc. Lodging was clean, nice, and well maintained. Conveniently located. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Food was very tasty with plenty of snacks and desserts. Small coffee/retail shop.

Without a doubt the place I feel most at home! I started working at BLBC in 2010 as a summer staffer and since then God has used this campus to draw me nearer to Him and grow I'm big way. I am SO grateful for BLBC and the ministry that God has placed here!!! Plus, I live that it's so close to the city and yet still feels tucked away in our own little space. It's lovely!

BLBC holds such a special place in my heart! I heard about Black lake through friends and experienced it for the first time in 2007. Now, 13 years later I’m amazed that I have found ways back to camp every year- even when I lived in another state. BLBC is grounded in scripture and has such a core focus on helping others to learn about Bible and who Jesus is. They couple that with a fun, imaginative and hyped up environment where you get to meet life long friends! I’d highly recommend it.

Worked at BLBC for several years as a teen, I know many others who have attended as campers or have been part of staff.

BLBC is made up of a team of people who have one goal in mind; how do we share the love of Christ in a fun and loving way? And do they ever meet it!

The staff at BLBC are highly vetted, carefully selected, and mindfully trained. Ranging from younger teens in the background, college aged young adults front and center, and older staff who live on campus full time, you can be sure there’s someone there who can relate to and keep your child safe.

This is a camp where your child is considered as a whole. The meals are thoughtfully hand picked to include everything your child needs to play all day, but in a way they’ll actually volunteer to eat. The games and activities are engaging and exciting. The spiritual lessons have real-life applications for the five year olds and married adult alike. Even if you’re not the religious type, it’s hard to ignore the benefits of a camp that actively encourages being kind and courteous to all people, at all times.

I’ve worked at many camps, and BLBC will always be my favorite. It’s where my own son will go, and it’s where I recommend others to work and attend. Still have questions? Call them up! I guarantee a friendly voice will answer with all the assurances you need. All-in-all, Black Lake Bible Camp is the best there is, and if you live in the PNW but haven’t been- you’re truly missing out.

Nice little summer camp. I cannot personally speak to the event quality, but the facility is great. Awesome swimming area on Black Lake with plenty of space to kayak, boat or swim.

I have visited BLBC since 1968. I have enjoyed many times of physical, mental and spiritual refreshment and growth. This where I first received systematic training in how to teach children and while most of my teaching career was at the undergraduate level this where I realized I could.
Thanks!

Boating, swimming (pool and lake), super slip & slide, archery, paintball, Gaga ball pit, blobbing, indoor and outdoor basketball, disc golf, bubble soccer, carpet ball, and mini golf are just a few of the amenities that this Bible camp offers. The "Tambernacle" is a great meeting place with probably 400+ seating. Food was great and had plenty of variety.

I love the setting of this camp. Its quiet and tucked away, but very lively when the camp is full of kids running around having fun. The staff is friendly as well.
