Ramirez Mexican Store

Any time I need my taco fix near home ( Tumwater wa) I head to ramirez, I am met by the friendly staff who jokes, and answers any questions you may have. I ordered this drink. Beautiful presentation. However thr flavor wasn't for me. :( expecting that this was on me.. I didn't expect them to exchange it. But they did. And ensured I was happy with my new drink. It was delicious 😋
Ps.. they sell their chips and salsa and their premairnated meat is also a great idea for a quick dinner at home. Love that it is a restaurant/store/bar

It was our first time here and greeted friendly when walked in. Fast service with chips and salsa as well as our food. Ordered chicken fajitas, wet burrito, and kids nachos. Large portions so had enough to take home! Very pleased and plan on coming back. :)

I visit this place regularly! I love the service (the staff always try to remember the customer’s preferences and likes), there are always regulars that I see hanging out (a testament to the consistent quality and service), and I love the store! Anytime we are having a get together, I go pick up a couple of their homemade salsas. This place also has daily specials (for lunch and dinner) and always adding new things to the menu and store to accommodate their guests. I am starting to see why this place is a staple in Tumwater.

Been here a few times. Had the Mexican pizza tonight. I could only eat half. It's big and delicious. I'll have the rest for lunch tomorrow. I must add that I can't get enough of their green salsa. Great menu selection. Nice bar in the other room. When we were done we shopped the grocery area of the restaurant/store. Got coconut water for feeling healthy :) We'll be back soon.

Wonderful homemade Mexican food in Tumwater! The portions are huge and are a decent price as well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for Mexican breakfast on the weekend!

Our go to meal is a Ramirez bowl. It's always good. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We always get our food to go so I can't speak to the service of the wait staff but the counter service is very fast and friendly.

Dropped in for lunch. Excellent salsa and chips, veggies burrito and horchata. Good value. Small store attached. Looking forward to trying their ice cream next time.

Really great experience at this restaurant. We were visiting the area and visited the restaurant on a recommendation. Staff was so friendly and accommodating to our slightly larger group. We also had an infant with us, to which server immediately asked if we would need hot water (for bottle/formula) or anything.
Service was fast, accurate and efficient.
Food was very tasty and great temperature. Portions were large. Tortillas were delicious. Green salsa was amazing!! Price point was reasonable given items and sizes.
Attached to restaurant is small Mexican convenience store with pan dulce (sweet bread) and other specialty items.
We can't wait to return when we're back in the area!!!

I go to their store to get their fresh steak, fajitas and spices and their salsa chips to take home and cook. But I've had their asada burrito and it's great

Never disappointed! From a Hispanic family that grew up in Cali, this is as close to food from home as I've had anywhere around. The the tamales have a thick Masa, they are flavorful and moist. All of the food I've had has been very good. Very authentic. The staff are always pleasant and friendly and if I'm ever looking for something they're always quick to assist. Located in a small stop mall, big flavors for such a little place! The burrito and we burrito are big, I never finish them at the restaurant. It's also one of the very free places that have a great selection of authentic Mexican food items to buy in the store that is also located in the restaurant. You can buy any of the sauces they have as well as pre made tamales and Masa if you want to make your own. Happy feasting!!

I applaud the staff at Ramirez. They are so incredibly consistent. The food is always really good, and some dishes are incredible. My 1st grader loves this place. And it is great to have the store and the ice-cream parlor right there under the same roof. You would be hard pressed to get a better meal at a better price, and if you did the service wouldn't be nearly as good. The employees here are way above the average you see at most restaurants. I have never left here hungry, dissatisfied, or anything less than pleased. Keep up the great work.

Food was a 5, Drinks were fine, service was a 2, little dislexic, not focused, we got our food at different times, mine came a full 10 mins before my table mates got thiers, our server was more interested in gabbing with other employees at the bar, had to get up and interrupt her several times and remind her that we were here still, thirsty!? We really liked our food though.update, still the same but nice people and better tequila selection. Salsa is delicious

Good food, big portions, friendly staff.

For our first visit, we went during the crazy snowstorm right before Valentine's Day 2021 because my husband was craving burritos and this was the only place open. I don't normally like 'new places' because I'm a very picky eater, but my only complaint was that the food was slightly too salty. Everything else was great!

The service was fantastic and more than you could ask for during a mid-pandemic dinner rush with a side helping of "blizzard." Our waitress was very sweet and we weren't left wanting, not did we have to wait long for anything.

Bonus points from me for having live houseplants that were thriving (dieffenbachia and pothos 😍).

I went there for an open mic, the food was top notch, and the service was remarkable!! Ramirez has a local friendly feel with a strong dose of authentic Mexican Cuisine! Also the open mic was fantastic it was fun lighthearted and ran well. Shout out to the staff and all the people that kept that place going during the pandemic and keep it going strong now, it's a wonderful thing to have a place like Ramirez in your hometown

This was our first time here i love there food great price for the size plate you get. Also they made my drink from scratch so awesome.

Wow! The dishes came out just like the pictures! Quick and delisioso! Definitely try the wet burrito. It’s enough for two and is awesome! The store front is initially shetchy, but the staff and food and eclectic grocery attached are 100% worth getting over any inhibitions! Yum.

Ordered door dash a few times and ate in the restaurant last week. The food has been delicious every time. I loved the sauce on the wet burrito. The Birria tacos were amazing too. The gentleman that was our server was great we will be back!!
