South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity Store

I bought a kitchen hutch here recently and Mariah and Theo were such an incredible help!
I can not express the gratitude I hold for these two people helping me figure out how to transport this giant thing. They had such amazing hospitality and were ready to help with answering my questions before I bought it, making me comfortable with my purchase, as well as everything after!
10/10 give them both a raise!

I stop here almost daily, searching for unique items for my shop. The employees are always super nice and helpful! Kristin, Lori and Kelly love my dog Hazel, and make it a fun place to visit. Roger, Justin and especially the manager, Randy, are always quick to help. We love shopping here!

Great store. Give to the community while scoring great prices on all manner of home goods. I just picked up a great couch for 65 that would have cost 8x more wherever it came from a few months earlier...

Outstanding in every regard. I’ve found top quality (fancy) items there, at reasonable prices, most of which I’ve installed at my Mom’s house. She’s thrilled every time.
The staff is always helpful and it’s one of my favorite places in West Olympia.
For those who must complain:
Some of what is found here is genuine finery needing only some cleaning.
I purchased a one year old top of the line LG dishwasher - stainless inside and out - for $200. It’s so quiet I thought it was broken at first, and my Wife thinks I’m a genius for finding it.
I’m now in the process of updating all of our sinks and toilets to Koehler. This store has supplied me with nearly new items for this project at prices which are so low I feel like I’m stealing from them.

I like what comes in this store. You get variety of furniture and it's cheap. I think my favorite I have ever purchased here is a school desk. It was like an old school desk with the seat and book holder underneath the seat. It was only $10 they had a lot of them there at that time. Makes it so much easier for my son to do his homework and feel like he is in a school environment.

I used to volunteer with this organization, so I have first hand knowledge of how it operates. Taking issue with SOME of the pricing may be valid, but you know what? Building homes is expensive, even more so now. Which means this organization is needed even more! You asked: "So they say they are nonprofit and donate but has anyone actually researched what these companies do with the money?" -Clearly you did not. This store benefits Thurston County EXCLUSIVELY. It all stays local! A development of 30+ affordable homes is being worked on in Lacey! The families that get these homes WORK IN THE STORES as volunteers! When you pose a question like that, it's obvious what you're doing; you're trying to sew distrust and discredit in an organization that is doing great and real work on the local level. These people actually help our community. Your petty complaints do not. Grow up.

This is a fun store with a WIDE assortment of used and new goods. I went looking for some inexpensive paint, and left with two cases of baby wipes and a 25 lb. bag of high quality dry dog food at amazing prices. A plethora of surprises, you never know what you'll find. If you like treasue hunts, you'll like this store. A great place to find mid century hardware for cupboards and drawers. ENJOY!!

Clean well-organized store. Typically wide ranging prices, which you find at most thrift shops - some things are a great deal; others, not so much. I like what they do, and we shop there regularly for home improvement projects.

Awesome selection, great prices, and friendly staff. This is a nice, clean, well organized location with a large amount of floor space. They have appliances, hardware, a surprising number of doors and windows, and more furniture than I expected. Check them out regularly, you won't be sorry.

Love shopping here. Usually find something I want. Great little place to donate furniture too as well. Love to support HFH whenever I can becasue they do amazing things for some deserving people in the community and who doesn't love that? I like all the Knobs and Planters and shelving I find at this location. Gotta have more projects! Lol 👍👍

I was out getting some sun and window shopping and stopped in. They had beautiful rugs and so many other things, workers were great and willing to help find or look for anything if I needed. I have gotten things from here over the years and so have people I know. They have a points rewards if you shop there a lot.

I walk in with a general concept of what I'm looking for and 9/10 times they have something that is perfect. The store is pretty clean and the staff is super helpful. If you need furniture or home supplies this place is a treasure chest.

Love the concept reusing left over donated building materials, it's like a hardware thrift store..Nice staff and manager..Ive found some amazing deals and some ok priced stuff. I like to go there for random items, and who knows what you'll find. Just dont have expectations that what your looking for will be there. They dont carry regularly stocked items.. The fun is all in the hunt.

Love this store. So many good finds and the prives are great, plus its sustainable shopping. The inventory always changes but they constantly have a good selection of nice solid furniture.

Thank you to the Habitat employees at South Sound donation center. You were very helpful unloading my donations and made me feel very appreciated for my donations. Your donation center was clean and orderly.

I've managed to snag some great deals in here. Staff is always friendly, and I highly recommend sighing up for their rewards program. I've gotten several $5 off rewards. Definitely worth it.

It's always fun to stop and browse habitat. I've seen some beautiful vintage pieces as well as affordable furniture for all occasions.

Great pricing! Found exactly what I needed for a quarter of the price of brand new. And the staff is friendly!
