Olympia Ace Hardware

It still has that old school hardware store vibe. Feels nice compared to the big box chains. It appears to be the inspiration for the hardware store in Bojack Horseman's Olympia cameo. And, to quote the show, I would have say that this store rates above the standard B+ Olympia Washington rating.

We needed 2 spare keys made and something to attached a lock box to our house. So when our mother in law falls some one can help her if we're not home. The key guy did all kinds of helping us.

Love this store. They have unique items you can't get elsewhere, like the BEST wasp & hornet spray!

It's a medium sized store in West Olympia that is great to shop at. The staff is wonderful, always someone to help you. They have just about everything you need in the store. From gardening to cleaning supplies, making keys, pet supplies, the list goes on. It's so convenient and prices are good.

Krissy was very helpful, she helped my wife & I find our items quickly and efficiently!! We much appreciated the help!!!

I love this place because when I telephoned ahead to see if they had Hand Warmers an Associate checked for me. Upon arrival I noticed Social Distancing sign on a door & 6' markers on the floor leading to Cashiers.

Ace is large enough to have what I need, but not so huge I need a whole day just to buy cup hooks. And they are nice!

We had an equipment failure and needed replacement or a fix. The staff were very helpful. They were unable to replace but did help us find the right nuts and bolts to fix it. The store is a nice size. I appreciate not having to walk a city block to get from one side of the store to the other.

Went in to Ace Hardware in Olympia, Mariroc was upfront checking out customers, she worked the line with SPEED! She was friendly, worked all the registers so people moved right along. She was excellent!!!!

I’ve been only twice now, I’m not really from here. But each time I’ve had to get assistance and every single person has been extremely helpful and kind and very knowledgeable. It’s really hard in this world now days to get good help and let alone be nice to you. So this place really knows how to find the good ones I’d say. Good job Ace 😇

Their hardware selection is OK. It's not as comprehensive as the Ace on Columbia in downtown Olympia, but you can find what you need 9 times out of 10.

Better stocked then your average ace… Super friendly associates and management. above and beyond treatment had no problem checking the warehouses stock or special ordering items. Even suggested other local retailers that might have the item I was looking for when they were out of stock. 10/5 star service

Staff was very friendly and helpful. David started with a joke about being a stud finder, and helped us troubleshoot an issue we were having with a tool we already had and saved us some money from buying something new. The store was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. I will be going back.

It's so great having a well stocked hardware store in the neighborhood! The employees know how to fix stuff too, bonus.

I enjoy browsing in this store and thinking of all the projects that I could be working on... now, completing those projects is another story! The staff are friendly and helpful. I can usually find what I need in the store, and if not, it is available online. I especially appreciate that Ace offers curbside pick-up during the pandemic.

A helpful and friendly staff will make sure you find the thing you need! I've been here several times and they always seem to be very knowledgeable about tools, parts, and accessories.

Friendly people. Good service finding what you want. They will take spent fluorescent tubes--the big Box stores won't--and they do sell LED replacements for those tubes. They also have millions of small things that you'd NEVER find at a big box store. Parking very good.

Provides the basics for a hardware store. It's more convenient than big chain { Home Depot, Lowe's}. Usually the price isn't that much more than Amazon, so if something is needed in a pinch, it's a good place to go.

I like this hardware store, especially if you just need to pick up something small (or a few items), they have a decent selection and very helpful staff who will spend time with you and answer your questions. The prices are just as reasonable as the big box places (like Home Depot, etc.) without having to wander around a huge building when you just need a bulb for your nightlight. Very convenient and a good store.
