One of the last old style dairy Queens. Go there when you can. DQ corporation is pulling franchises of these places every year. Several in Illinois got pulled this summer including Carbondale

Excellent ice cream and a super friendly and courteous staff. Our "go-to" for ice cream during the summer.

I ordered a blizzard with a Reese's Pieces, m and m"s, and chocolate chunks. They had quite a line, but the staff inside of that place was doing the hustle, and the wait time wasn't bad at all. Great Experience.

I love how it's convintly set up between two high schools Lutheran South and Affton High meaning that students can easily get a sweet treat. It's also serving amazing Ice cream with very short lines and wait times

Lived within the area of this DQ for 64 years and the family converged their on Mother's Day evening. Great place, wife had a good time eating DQ ice cream with the grandkids.

They close st 10pm not 9pm. As it says on Google maps.

I enjoy this particular Dairy Queen because it has that hometown feel about it. There is always a crowd but it is worth the wait. There is outdoor seating and it is nice to see your neighbors enjoying the summer season with a delicious treat.

The parking lot was full so I thought we would have to wait. However, they moved you through very quickly, so it took < 5 minutes to order and pick it up from the next window.

My all-time favorite DQ! A nostalgic, old-fashioned road side DQ with fantastic service. Although they don't have twist cones, today they offered to layer vanilla and chocolate ice cream as a substitute. No better place for those summer ice cream cravings!!

This place has been here since I can remember, I'm 54, and you always get good service, food, and a smile. Blizzards are great. I always get the Oreo but many flavors are good.

Loved it! The girls were nice and friendly and quick! I've never been to a walk up Dairy Queen or one that only serves treats for that matter! :)

We got a turtle blizzard and a twist cone turtle blizzard with fantastic twist cone very little chocolate more vanilla other than that great place

I've been going to this DQ for years. It's an old, outdoor-walk-up building. The workers are always very friendly. Just a note - this location only serves ice cream i.e. no burgers, meals, fries, etc.
