This is the place "where everyone knows your name." Loved the atmosphere and service. I wasn't hungry, but I finished my son's fries 😋

I enjoyed my experience! It is a small bar but tastefully done. I met the owner, who I assume is Scott, and he was such a nice guy. He shook my hand and thanked me for coming in. I had the Taco which is their specialty and it was excellent. I'm glad I ordered the small because it was big. If you are in J-town, I would recommend stopping in!

Small hometown bar, friendly service, friendly customers. Good drinks! CLEAN establishment ! Great food for a bar!
Tacos are a must if you visit.

While visiting Johnstown, we came here for lunch at the suggestion of our hotel clerk. Great spot! The owner greeted us personally, shared some local lore, made us feel at home. The tacos and burgers are awesome!

Came for the tacos. The Buffalo chicken was pretty good and prices are damn cheap! 10/10 definitely would come back again. Owners were pretty cool!

Went there today for lunch and found an absolute gem of a place. The owner was attentive and very friendly. The bar had regular patrons who brought the place to life. The food was excellent. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The owner even shook our hands before we left. Live an hour from there but will be back again.

Bigs things sometimes come in small packages! Great little place. Had a chicken taco that hit the spot just right! The owner is very welcoming and humble. I'm definitely going to be the place to take lunch regularly when I pass, though. Awesome 👌 thank you, scott!

I stumbled upon Scott’s by Dam with my boyfriend on accident when another restaurant was closed. It was a rather warm and small joint, but after being greeted by Scott in such a playful way, I knew it was the place to be. Their crack fries were ABSOLUTELY UNMATCHED! one of the best foods I’ve eaten in my life. I personally felt obligated to thank Scott’s wife, Tammy, as it was so good I feel sick. The atmosphere was light hearted and playful, and the food was incredible and more than fair priced. (We spent less than $40 on 2 drinks, 2 wraps, and a side of crack fries). I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal and a casual, friendly experience!

It's bar food. It's not a 5 star restaurant. Damn fine bar food though. Well made. Scott will stop by your table and make sure everything is good and everyone is happy. Just like the better 5 star restaurants. Atmosphere is cozy and family friendly. If you miss this place you are missing out.

Great tacos & great service. Menu is broad. Bartender was super too. Small place but friendly and welcoming.

The perfect dive bar with the best and most unique taco I've ever had. A must stop at if you're in Johnstown.

The menu was big, the prices in my opinion were cheap for what you get! If you leave here hungry that's your fault! The servings are large and the food is delicious, I ordered the beach fries, ( fries smothered in cheese bacon and ranch) I got my ranch on the side, a turkey and gravy sandwich which was full of yummy turkey and some breaded mushrooms.. everything was delicious and the portions large! I couldn't recommend this place enough! BTW, my total bill was about $23.55 and I took most of it with me and I can eat.. don't let my size fool you.. the beach fries could've fed the entire table and that's no exaggeration!

I took a a friend here to eat before the Foreigner concert, as usual it did NOT dossapoint! This time I went with the chicken Taco, beach fries and wings! I their homemade soft tacos are like Taco bells chalupas...... only better..yummy..I highly recommend if this place wasn't so far away and up over the mountain I would eat here daily! The owner waited on us he was so cool and in all fairness I only weigh 102 pounds and was fair game for the all in fun comments about where was I gonna put it etc.. like I said, I can eat folks! Fyi the place was packed and there was quite a wait that there says enough! I cannot wait to go back to Johnstown for whatever reason just to eat here again!

Everyone in the place was friendly. Food was great. Parking in the deep back, not the 2 lots on each side.

Nice little bar in Johnstown, PA. Go there for the tacos and stay for the poutine. It's an 80 mile drive, one way, from my house and I'll make the trip several times a year. Totally worth it!!

If every place was like this when you go there then there would be world peace.
Scott's by the Dam is awesome they have awesome food for an amazing price. I would recommend this to anyone from families to the lonely alcoholic. This is what a restaurant/experience should be
Everyone here is extremely nice as well.

I would recommend the Crack fries. They're phenomenal ranch based garlic parm French fries. They're so delicious and filling. Not a single soggy fry. I'd eat until I couldn't.

If you're around the are please stop by. Highly recommended
