Dr. Eisley is amazing. During the cobsult, he took time and answered all my questions and provided useful information for my vision and health. He was very clear about fees that may not be covered by insurance.
His staff were impressive especially the person who took my initial call. He was polite and friendly while efficiently getting my information and setting my appointment.
I'd recommend this clinic for everyone.

Dr Southam and the staff were fantastic! I got an exam for my two young children and myself. He was so patient with my not so cooperative 4-year-old and got her the correction she needs. We never want to go anywhere else!

First time customer from Cali after our old eye Dr was more worried about covid than your eye health. Dr Eisley and all the staff were awesome, very knowledgeable and professional. Definitely coming back and have been recommending Black Rock to all my friends/family.

Dr. Southam and his team are all very kind, helpful, & professional. They followed all the necessary health protocols required (wearing masks, wiping down surfaces & equipment, social distancing, taking patient temperatures, requiring patients to wash their hands!) during this crazy time. I’m very thankful they are doing all that they can to provide such an essential service & keeping their patients safe.

Black Rock Vision is one of the best optometry clinics I’ve been to. They were able to get me a next day appointment when I first called looking for a new optometrist in Reno. They took my insurance with no additional paperwork required. I loved how I was able to fill in all my forms online before my appointment. I highly recommend this optometry clinic! Genuinely nice and perfect people! Everyone at Black Rock vision center were super nice and very helpful with fixing my glasses. With the temporary shutdowns in Tahoe for optometrists, I couldn't find anyone to help with my problem. I called black rock vision and Shawn was immediately one of the nicest people I have spoke with in weeks. I came to the center and Diane fixed my glasses in minutes! Diane was super professional and very nice. She also would not allow me to pay :)

Dr. Southam and the staff at Black Rock Vision have been incredible. When my son needed glasses, they took the time to listen to him and get him exactly what he needed. My 2 daughters call the office "the fun doctors office" Everyone there was knowledgeable, considerate and very respectful of our needs. Great service!

I absolutely love the staff and doctors at black Rock! I take my whole family and they are so patient with my 3 kids and take their time to explain every step with them. When all 3 of my kids needed glasses they spent over an hour showing the kids their glasses and helped them make great choices!!! The staff is super friendly and welcoming too. I couldn’t say enough positives about this practice!!!

Prior to my appointment I was able to do my paperwork online, which I LOVE, and on arriving at the office I waited less than 5 minutes before being called back. The tests & equipment were more sophisticated than my previous doctors had used, and I found that I was able to get in and out more quickly and with significantly more information than I had with other offices. Dr. Southam was friendly and knowledgeable and each of his staff members was pleasant and enjoyable to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Black Rock Vision Center.

All the employees were exceptional. From start to finish, it was a pleasant experience. Dr. Southam was very friendly and a great person to talk to. There was a little bit of a wait when I got there, but I can’t complain because once your in, they really take care of you and this whole covid situation has that affect on everything.

Dr. Southam gave a very thorough eye exam. He is knowledgeable and interested in giving excellent care. I love the optical staff. They were so helpful in choosing frames. (That is the most difficult part for me.) I love the Shamir lenses Lisa recommended. I have been wearing glasses for twenty-five years and these are the best I have ever had.

We took our two grand children to Dr. Southam and were very impressed with his patience giving our three year old his first eye exam that turned out normal. Dr. Southam quickly determined our eight year old granddaughter needed an adjustment in her prescription. When the new glasses arrived it made a great difference to her. Black Rock Vision’s staff and doctors are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional solving my difficult vision needs. I highly recommend them to everyone who wants excellent care and evaluations and follow up glasses and treatment.

They are great with my 6yr old son. Not only do they talk to him, but they help educate me and make sure I’m understanding everything. We have seen both Dr. Southam and Dr. Eisley and I can’t say enough good things about them and their staff.

My experience with BlackRock was positive from the phone call to Jessica who scheduled my appointment until my visit ended with Dr. Moore. 1) Jessica was very welcoming and efficient while processing me; 2) Beverly's experience and professional manner was very thorough during the necessary testing; 3) excellence for Dr.Moore's exam/consultation along with his bedside manner.

Amy and Dr. Southam were both amazing! When I got in there was a hiccup with my insurance on my end, but the staff was super helpful and called my insurance to get it sorted out in just a few minutes. Amy was super fun and we chatted about our favorite video games while we did the exams. Dr. Southam has amazing bedside manners and joked around with me, told me a hilarious story about his school days, and gave me his professional opinion that my eye color is beautiful. Lisa led me straight to my absolute favorite brand of glasses, LaFont, and helped me pick out the ones I'd look best in with kindness and professionalism. All-in-all, I'll never go anywhere else! These guys are really the best.
