As a local I was so surprised at how cool this museum was! Gorgeous panoramic view of Hershey from parking lot. Full gift shop. Museum packed with neat things...even original scales and mug shots from the PA Lottery's infamous 666 scandal. Good for both kids and adults.

I visited here on my way up to State College, after hearing about this place by accident while surfing YouTube. It really gave me the appreciation that the efforts the men and women of the Pennsylvania State Police have done since they were founded back in the 1900s protecting and serving the residents of the Commonwealth. You'll learn a lot about their history, see how their equipment changed year after year, hear about some of the most infamous crimes like the Camp Hill prison riots, and the 666 fix, etc. You'll also see how they train future men and women to become state troopers as they have an exhibit detailing some of what goes on at the nearby State Police Academy.

To the PA State Police: thank you for all you do in protecting and serving the Commonwealth.

This is a great little museum, packed full of great information and displays, with an incredible view of Hershey. The staff was super nice and informative. The gift shop has a nice variety of PSP items. I definitely would like to visit again and take the tour of the academy, which require reservations two weeks prior.

This is a great place to visit and must see in Hershey Pa.
We attend the Solders of Law Memorial Ride yearly and love the tour of the PSP Museum.

Great place to visit for some history of the Pa State Police. Organized, well laid out, easy to see, and get up close. My father in law is pictured with the rodeo in the early 70s. Many displays on the different aspects of the state police history over the years. It's definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

What an awesome place to visit. We visited with a cub scout pack and the guide was extremely knowledgeable and made it interesting for the kids. Not sure if they had more fun or if the adults did. Was very happy.

Museum is $7 you can go through it in about an hour, I'm sure it could be more could be less depending on your level of interest. They also have a gift shop that sells State Police memorabilia.
It worth stopping if you are in the area.

Our son wanted to visit the museum so we went on Saturday October 17th 2020. It was a small place but packed with history of PA/ PA State Police events that occurred over the years. We loved it. The gift shop had an assortment of items to pick from. If you get a chance stop by you won't be disappointed.

A small but interesting museum covering the history of the PA State Police. I've had both grandsons here, each when they were 6-7 years old, and both loved it. I also found it to be interesting. They built a new building in the time between my taking the oldest grandson and this visit with the youngest. Everything is laid out and exhibited better now, well lit and spacious.

We did the guided tour with our tour guide, Homer. First, Homer is the man, he was very knowledgeable about the history of the State Police, he himself is a retired trooper so it was cool to hear about his experience from back in the day. Second, we were able to see the horse stables which was really cool, we spoke with a few cadets and got to walk the grounds and see where the cadets train and learn. I highly recommend the guided tour!

Great little sport to stop and see a very small piece of PSP history. Not very big on the inside, but definitely captured a great overview of PSP and their history.

The outside of the museum looks like a basic, small house so we weren’t sure what to expect but once inside, we were drawn into the history and artifacts. Great find, this doesn’t seem to be advertised much.
Thank you to all of the PSP for their dedication and support.

Such a nice museum. It's not huge, so you can easily drop in and look around for a bit and not have to rush through it. Great views of the surrounding area as well!
