Valu Home Centers

Valu Home Centers is about as close as you can get to a small business feeling hardware store that still operates as a chain. As opposed to larger stores their customer service is superior. Their selection of goods is less, but of good quality. I have purchased a lot of paint and stain products from them, all good quality. Valu Home Centers prices are reasonable as well. Take a look for yourself and you will find it's worth it.

Associates are very helpful making sure you have the right items for your project. They also work as a team which makes it easier.

The people working here are the some of the friendliest people in all of Erie. Very helpful as well. They may not have everything you're looking for but they know where to send you to get it. It is so nice to have this particular store in our neighborhood.

Valu has the best customer service in town. Maureen, the manager, went above and beyond tonight to help me problem solve and repair broken hardware in a bedpost.

I like Valu as they are fast to run in and pick up something quickly. Unfortunately my purchase tonight was not so good. I misplaced my lock for the Y locker & stopped to buy another... i should of known better then to buy a pink master lock, it broke as i was putting it onto the locker. It will be returned on friday at my next swim class.

I had A few sets of Keys made...the Employees were very helpful....I wanted a Surge Protector with a Short Cord....They had the perfect Size.. I bought a Bungey Cord to hang my Dog Park Tote in a tree so as not to get peed on...

Local place close to home. Fair prices. Carries all the basics. No need to drive to Lowes or the Depot for small projects.

I grew up working in the family hardware store. Then, college and a series of great jobs. The final employment location is where I retired and that is where I became acquainted with Value Hsrdware. I am very happy with this local store, and especially the staff.

I stopped for an electric plug adapter, which unfortunately they did not stock. However three employees made a great effort, to find the item anyway. We also discovered there were other items needed, at great sale prices. It ended up being a very worthwhile trip, with excellent customer service.

Had to get a couple of keys copied and they were prompt to help me in fast and knowledgeable fashion. And while there my 5 year old said he had to use the rest room and they allowed us to use the rest room that was closed to the public.

I was greeted shortly after walking through the door. All the associates were friendly and helpful, but not hovering. I was able to find what I needed quickly and easily. The cashier was very polite and efficient. The store inside and out looked well maintained.

I normally dread going here. But they had a good sale. What a difference! Must be new management because the place was friendly, helpful and even a better/different selection than usual. So good to see, as it is easier than fighting Peach jam.

Employees were very helpful. Third store I went to for bath/shower replacement parts. The only store where I got the correct information and correct parts. Thanks Value employees. I even took my old parts with me (to all 3 stores). The 2 box stores, said the employees knew what they were talking about, obviously didnt. I had to return everything. My first stop for now on.

We were searching for a particular item, but this store only had 1 when we needed 3. The associate went above and beyond by calling not just 1 but 2 other stores. She then called back the closest one and asked them to hold their 2 for us. Outstanding service.

I have been shopping at Valu Home Center for years and will continue to do so in the future. The prices are a little higher than Home Depot or Lowe's but the staff more than makes up for it with their friendly demeanor and they are always there to help you get in and out of the store quickly. They also generally offer up suggestions for some items you may need to finish your project that you might not have thought about. This ultimately saves you another trip back to the store later in the day. And everyone knows time is money

I love this store. We always go there for all our hardware needs. Super nice staff. Really helpful
