Holiday Inn Express & Suites Erie (Summit Township), an IHG Hotel

Thank you to the great staff at Holiday Inn for a wonderful weekend. This was our first time staying at this location and everything was better than expected. We were greeted kindly and promptly at arrival. Prior to arrival, we asked to be located next to our friends and were lucky enough to have adjoining rooms. Alexandra offered great local suggestions to us and others for dining. Rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of room for hanging towels to dry. Breakfast was busy and a little difficult to find enough seating, but it was a Saturday morning so expected. Wonderful value for a package that included water park passes. Bedding was warm, temperature in room was great, towels were good and enough for all 4 of us.

We always have a great time at a Holiday Inn. This one in particular is very nice and spacious from the breakfast hall to our suite.
Probably the biggest room we’ve had a Holiday Inn or at any hotel really. Breakfast was okay… coffee was good.. pancakes were fresh via pancake machine.. eggs and sausages were meh.
Hotel is connected to Splash Lagoon so made it super simple to walk across without being outside. We arrived around noon and got our water park passes right away. Rooms weren’t ready until after 3pm. Overall highly recommended and definitely staying here again next time we come to Splash Lagoon.

Oh, and this hotel uses Dove soap, shampoo, lotion etc.
Big bonus points.

What is there not to love about this Holiday Inn Express!? The rooms are very clean not to mention spacious giving this family of four the chance to spread out but be near each other. It most definitely was nice to let the kiddos have the living room to watch their cartoons while we had the bedroom to watch non cartoons. Lol. Splash lagoon being attached is so convenient. Breakfast offered a lot of different options, which were all delicious. Added bonus that no one ever speaks about is the staff. Alex was beyond helpful making sure our stay was relaxing and made us feel like our needs were heard. When you go out of town it’s nice to have someone treat you like family. We asked for an extra blanket , within a short period of time our blanket arrived. The jetted tub was unbelievably nice to soak in. When we come back to Erie, this will be where we stay!

I travel frequently and am quite particular with where I stay. I stayed at this property for the first time, and was highly impressed. The overall hotel is well-kept; the staff apparently takes pride in keeping the property clean and up to date. Our room was pristine and spacious. I was especially impressed with the kitchen staff and breakfast. The staff was on top of everything, with several guests coming and going throughout the morning. The lady , who appeared to be in charge, took the time to check and make sure everything was OK with my breakfast and asked if we needed anything! I rarely have gotten this in any hotel. Breakfast was fresh and the variety was super.
Although parking was somewhat of an issue, everything else was what I was hoping for. I highly recommend this hotel if coming to the Erie area.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites, I want to say thank you for having My Husband as well as I as your guests! Our room was Amazing, clean, spacious, great lighting, amazing bathroom, all in all a great set up for our room! The Water park super fun, we even used the clothing line(located in the shower) as well as the hangers(located in the room closet) to dry our wet towels/bathing suits over night with the bathroom fan! Breakfast was good! Coffee was made perfectly! Our experience with you by far exceeded our expectations! All in all great experience ever! Thank you again! 😊

We stayed here for my son's 3rd birthday while we went to Splash Lagoon. We had an excellent experience. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and quiet. When we got home, we realized we left our son's stuffed animal in the hotel room:( We called, they found it, and shipped it out to us! Will definitely be staying again and recommend to others! Thank you for a great experience!

Stayed here and went to Splash Lagoon with a package from Duty Free. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially Star and Destiny. Waterpark is connected to hotel via indoor hallway. The arcade there is good for kids too. Bowling (attached at Quaker) was a fun activity at night with kids. Would recommend as a fun short family trip.

Our 2nd trip to Splash Lagoon so we were familiar with this hotel. Our initial room had a soaking wet area on the carpet near the tile floors which made it a hazard for falls. The manager Alex was so kind and understanding. Even though the hotel was sold out was able to "comp" us the Presidential suite. She went above and beyond for our comfort and safety. Thank you so much Alex!

We stayed in adjoining rooms to go to Splash Lagoon. Rooms were clean, quick access to water park, yummy breakfast and everyone had a great time. Check in, front desk and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Would, and will, totally recommend.

13 of us stayed at the holiday inn express with splash lagoon package. It was a great experience. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice and breakfast was amazing! We will definitely be back👍

This stay was an overnight stay, and not part of the destination. The hotel is located near the major highways and easy to access. There were restaurants and stores somewhat nearby down the road. I attached two sets of photos as we had to change rooms. Both rooms were a surprise in their size. This is a Holiday Inn Express and Suites. However the TV was broken in the first room with the sofa and twin queens, so we were moved to a king which had kid's bunk beds, and no sofa and table. Both rooms were clean and very nice. But as the TV was junk, the friendly staff moved us without complaint. The second room faced the street which was somewhat noisy especially at drive time in the morning. Both rooms had spa tubs which made standing for the shower easy and safe. With the attached water-park, I would imagine that this place gets a bit noisy in the summer and weekends, and it seems to be better for families who are vacationing. But I would stay again (off season!).

If you’re planning on visiting the Splash Lagoon Park, I totally recommend booking a night here the Holiday Inn. The room we stayed was comfy and spacious, staff treated us super well and it didn’t take us not even two minutes to cross from the hotel to the park. However, be advised that the hotel usually super booked given to the park’s high demand.

Beautiful stay on the 5th floor with large window. 2 queen beds, couch, small eating table, kitchen area and bathroom! Staff very friendly and continental breakfast very good as well!!

Couldn't ask for a better location or staff! Mansi at the front desk was absolutely fantastic and super helpful! We traveled from south of Cleveland OH to visit splash Lagoon, and will be back next time we are looking for an indoor get away!

Amazing hotel! Fresh, clean linens and towels, all fixtures clean, bathroom spotless. Safety features on room door. Stayed in a suite with a king bed and bunkbed for the kids. They had their own wall and TV. Connected to Splash Lagoon with a quick ride down the elevator. Quaker Steak and Lube (delicious!) connected to Splash Lagoon. Friendly and helpful staff as well as a yummy, filling all you can eat breakfast included. Will definitely stay here again our next visit!

Stayed here on the way home from Niagara Falls. Had a nice and quiet stay in a two queen sofa bed jacuzzi suite. It was on the 3rd floor with a view of the back of the property (roof of Splash Lagoon and trees). IHG gives a AAA discount that is generous compared to most hotels so we got a really good deal on the room. We got the last (and possibly only) cheap rate for the suite. The rate was cheaper than the base hotel room rate which was surprising to see. We will definitely be back, want to check out Splash Lagoon in the future since we didn’t this time!

Great place with soft pillows it's pretty nice. Breakfasts kinda uh but the rest is pure awesome! There's no pool but that's fine because of the nearby water parks and especially splash lagoon but yeahhh it was awesome ALTHOUGH the TV had some issues and the paper we had for TV channels was a bit confusing we figured it out eventually so GREAT PLACE would recommend might come back if I go back up there

Great big room with kitchen (must bring your own plates, cutlery etc). Clean and comfortable. Love the Dove products in the bathroom. Attached to the splash park. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for my daughters birthday to go to splash lagoon! It was attached to the park which made everything super easy especially with it being winter time. We got the kids suite which was worth every penny as the kids were able to get their “privacy” and have their own space. The room was clean as well as the facility. The staff was wonderful all around. If I were to improve on anything it would be our giant tub didn’t fill up it took almost an hour for it to get 1/4 of the way full. We had two 9 year olds who loved every minute regardless of the tub though.

This is honestly one of the BEST hotels I have stayed at. The rooms are nice. Big. Roomy. Their not super new. Some small cracks on the lamp shade. But that's just wear and tear. Beds were nice and comfy. AC works like gangbusters. Front desk staff were super nice. Location is prime. I don't have one single complaint about this place. And I stayed 4 nights.
