Very beautiful park. They had a couple of really nice swing sets and pavilions that were having parties. There is porta potties up in the hill if needed. Very clean and well kept.
The trail itself had 5 different paths, each marked by colors on the trees. They also provided small maps to help with directions.
The markers themselves were signs marked where the Mason Dixon line.
It was a nice hike. We did a little over 2.5 miles.
Hope this helps! Happy Travels!

Enjoyed a bridal shower at The Red Barn in the park. Very nice building, with two small open rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. Great place for the bridal shower or other event. Kids played on the playground before leaving it was quite nice. Pavilion right next to playground and plenty of open grass for activities. Map of park by The Red Barn along with book library box and helping hands box (food). Nice park from what we saw.

Great park with plenty of fun things to do! For the reviewers that are saying there isn’t much to do- they must not have explored far outside the parking lot. River access, playgrounds, pavilions, ball field, basketball court, and many trails to hike/run. The grounds and trails were very well cared for and there is excellent signage. Today we spent most of our time searching along the fairy trail with our 3 yr. old!

An absolutely beautiful place with so much to do. Has two nice playground areas. The fairy trail was a lot of fun and adorable. The kids loved it. Even the bathrooms are very well maintained and clean. It's a really good place to go for an adventure.

Saturday turned out to be a lovely day for the Easter Egg Hunt and other park activities. They seemed well organized and had a good turnout. We enjoyed a hike along the Bluebell trail and were glad we were prepared for mud after the recent rain. Plenty of blooming wildflowers. Someone has done a great job with the Fairy Houses. Good family fun!

Great family fun. Nice playgrounds and the trails are great! They have several pavilions and also a few picnic tables in different areas. We had lunch under a big beautiful tree. We went on the fairy trail and my children 9,7, and 3 really enjoyed it.

Park is perfect! Well maintained, clean and welcoming for all. We had a great day on the Fairy Door trail and enjoyed watching a baseball game.

Took an afternoon walk with the kids. Was peaceful and beautiful. And got to watch kids have an Easter egg hunt as we walked around. Was an amazing afternoon.

Great discovery. This park is so meticulously maintained and the facilities are well kept, thanks to J.R. and his two groundskeepers. My daughter and I walked a few trails, including the fairy door trail. Cool! 😊 We plan to bring some things to contribute to a few of the fairy houses and small villages. If you and/or your family have an afternoon available and are looking for nice, relaxing outing with opportunities for: some short mild to moderate trails, place to picnic, play ball or other outdoor activities, or some time to play, splash and explore in the shallows of the river... Head to the Mason-Dixon Historical Park!

We loved it. It was beautiful! The kids LOVED the fairy houses🥰
My daughter had a fall and couldn't walk back to the car. The park superintendent, JR, was so kind to give a ride back. Also, the bathrooms were freakishly clean for a public park 🤣😅❣

Amazing park! I love the way it feels like you're in a tunnel made of trees when the leaves are fullest.

They recently put down new gravel and expanded some things. The Fairy Trail is looking great, too! It's nice that they keep up with it.

This was our first visit to Morgantown, WV. As part of our trip, we visited the Native American fair in the Mason Dixon park and it was a great experience. Not only is the park beautiful but also very serene and almost enchanting! Of course, there are several trails to trek for those who like to explore more. The park has a children's playground (swings and all!), a basketball court and also access to bathrooms. Although we did not get to do so, I am sure it is an amazing place for picnics as well! I certainly recommend this place! Also, I was very impressed to see how clean and tidy the park is and would request all who visit to help maintain what it is. Enjoy!

Rented it out for our wedding. Very adorable. JR was more than accommodating, willing to meet us to show us around, answer questions and let us set up a day early. The cabin is beautiful to rent. I wouldn't have had it anywhere else.

There's a bunch of different things going on, and it's a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Check out the fairy houses on one trail, or push off in a kayak to beat the heat. There are pavilions, grill pits, & playground equipment for any occasion, or bring your basketball for a quick pick-up game. Pagan pride is coming, so come out & get to know your local witches, or listen to some great live music during the twilight hours!
