Bali Asian Cuisine

Food is really good. People complaining about the price or expecting a fine dining restaurant. I don't think that was the intention. Also, it's duluth; Everything is expensive. They have a fun cocktail menu and the food is solid.

I’m from Indonesia and I have a chance to visit the restaurant. As an Indonesian, I can guarantee this is the authentic Indonesian Restaurant. The food they served taste the same as the food that I eat back in Indonesia. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have a chance to visit them in Duluth!

Our first trip was great. Nice new place..it was busy. We had a poke bowl and a fun sushi. We thought it was pretty darn good. We tried to go back the next day, but they are closed on Sunday

Came here while visiting family in the area. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. A very enjoyable visit.

Fantastic food and lovely staff! My first impressions of the food was that it is very fresh and colorful. The modern industrial design creates a great atmosphere for evening dates and going out for drinks with friends! I would recommend this to anybody looking to enjoy fresh food and great company!

The food was delicious. Server was awesome, too. It's pretty tightly packed in there and could use some sound panels to deaden the sound perhaps. Otherwise, awesome experience. Some really good drinks.

We loved it! Inviting & clean. We got 2 appetizers (corn fritters...out of this world & pork pot stickers...fantastic), 4 entrees, AND dessert! Every single thing was top notch. Delicious, fresh & flavorful! And the service was out of this world!

We have eaten there twice and both times the food was amazing. I had sushi and my husband ordered the BBQ serloin bowl and they were able to make it extra spicy for him. Not Minnesota spicy. Actually spicy. I tried some and absolutely loved it. Very flavorful.

Great food, but what motivated me to actually write a review was the excellent service! Our waiter, Mayor, was simultaneously very laid back and also sincerely attentive. I can't think of the last time I felt like that at a restaurant.

Good sushi, awesome shrimp appetizer (with bang bang sauce), and the tenderest beef in the bumbu bali. And the fried banana tempura with ice cream was perfect!

Finally got the chance to visit and thrilled with our experience. The food was absolutely incredible and something that the Duluth culinary scene will greatly benefit from. All the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh and the sushi was of a higher quality than we have ever had in Minnesota outside of Minneapolis. The drinks were also excellent and unique. Strongly recommend to anyone curious.

Great food and service. Reasonable prices. Quick service. On-street parking is ok. We’re looking forward to trying more menu items!

Everything was so good. My new go to for Asian food in Duluth. Lots of options on the menu, including vegetarian and gluten free. Service was excellent and the place just had a great vibe. Definitely check them out!

We got a ton to share try. The Bali chicken wings are a great starter. Then some rolls which were great too. The Bali bowl was great, too.

We had dinner at the bar and it was fantastic. I got the tonkotsu ramen and my boyfriend had the honey garlic chicken rice bowl and they were both fantastic. A little pricey but totally worth it. Our bartender Kelly also happened to be one of the owners and we had great conversation. We will definitely be back!

Food was special and delicious. Menu was very descriptive and creative options. Well presented. Our appetizer came after our meal due to back up in kitchen but it was worth waiting for, so delicious. Server was excellent and apologetic. Great to have a new and specalty food choice in Duluth.

Didn't read the other reviews, but suspect that this restaurant may be above an average Minnesotan's spice level in a lot of their dishes. I grew up here and moved away, and I'd say that this is a restaurant of a quality that I'd put up against most anything I've had in the Chicago area.

I tried everything at the table and everything I tasted was excellent. Mi Goreng Noodles were likely my favorite. The service was on point and while there was a slight delay for the sushi rolls order, it was nothing egregious.

This is easily one of the best restaurants in Duluth, but I do believe they should call out spice on their menu so that folks like my parents can order comfortably without accidentally stumbling into something beyond their tolerance.

Do yourself a favor, give them a try!

I have returned 3 times. This time with 2 guests. Sushi was fantastic, Nasi Goring
(Fried rice) is the best anywhere. Bum Bu Bali delighted my Indonesian wife.
We also ordered the chicken wing appetizer, great. The wait staff was spot on.
Highly recommended.

This is exactly what Duluth has been missing! After moving from Minneapolis to a small town in northern Minnesota we miss the variety and flavors of the amazing Asian cuisine we are used to eating. This restaurant is lovely, very clean, modern, and decorated nicely, also the staff were very friendly. The Bali wings were AMAZING, crunchy and full of flavor. My husband had the sate ayam (chicken skewers) and I had the mi goreng (noodle dish) and both were very delicious. I see some negative reviews and quite honestly I am surprised, I can only speculate that the negative reviews are due to the restaurant being so new, and there are always things new restaurant has to figure out in the beginning and adjust accordingly. We are very excited to eat here again when we come to town and I can't wait to try the ramen...many other tables had ordered that and it looked so good. We had a great dining experience. Definitely recommend.

Delicious food, attentive service, stylish, comfortable environment. There were five of us, but I'll speak for myself and spouse, as this was our first visit. The spring rolls were fresh and we both would order the "Volcanic Shrimp Bowl" and the "Northlander Roll" again. But we're eager to try something new and look forward to returning soon.
