Sunday the 10th around 1:20pm I had gone to the GameStop in meridian on E Fairview because it’s closer to my house, I’ve been to this store a few times before this specific time happened. I bought a turtle beach headset back in may spent over 200 dollars on it plus 2 year warranty and recently I started having connectivity issues so i remembered I had the warranty I would just take it back and get something else. the guys at the Meridian store when I walked in he was on his phone didn’t seem to eager to help me out they weren’t busy at all. He said what can I do for you. I then explain what my headset was going, he then says I don’t have any of these in stock but all the Boise stores do. I said I can’t just replace it with another brand he goes that’s not how our warranty swaps work…I said that’s weird because I’ve done it before as I’ve been a GameStop customer for years. He said if one of the bigger up people were at one of the other stores they would make that decision. I said you can’t call someone so I don’t have to drive all over town. He then said they are out sick I won’t be calling them for something this small…made me feel like I was an inconvenience…so I called the store on overland in Boise and talked to a guy named John whom is a lead over there I told him what happen at the fairview store in Meridian he said no he should have helped you anyway he could. Long story short John at the overland store swapped my headset out for me with a different brand even which I love so much more than the one I had! John needs a raise for outstanding customer service. the fairview store in Meridian really need some customer service help tips from John. I will not be going back to the meridian store that’s for sure. overland has my business now.

This location is dope. I am well aware that I can be a difficult customer because I make a lot of online returns in-store, or always ask to see the condition of things, but the staff here has always been super helpful and incredibly patient with me. I haven’t experienced any rude staff, but I agree they do push hard with their rewards and protection plan. Although I will likely never purchase a protection plan, I regret not signing up for the power up rewards earlier! It more than pays for itself with the monthly coupons (which I believe have no restrictions other than gift cards). They had to tell me the benefits for three years before I finally caved in, and I wholeheartedly regret no signing up earlier. Anyways. A+

Awesome experience. The 2 staff members there were very friendly. Replaced my headset under warranty no questions asked. They then helped with using different discounts to help reduce price on other purchases. I left very happy and will drive to this location next time. Thanks

John- I believe the manager of this location- was so kind and helpful. My switch broke a few months ago & I used my warranty to trade it in& I didn’t realize my Zelda game was in it. A few weeks later when I realized what happened, John helped me get a new game, at an amazing discount to apologize for not checking the switch before it was shipped off. He was so kind & I really appreciated the customer service he provided. If anyone from Corporate reads this, give that man a raise or a bonus! He’s amazing at his job!

Love this GameStop always great customer service. Will not go to any other GameStop, Robin And Big josh alway treat me like a friend and love to just chat and listen to what your saying. Always go above and beyond to make anything happen and they remember people who walk in and seem excited when you in through the doors and ask how you are doing and act like they genuinely care. Hands down the best GameStop I’ve ever been to.

Robyn was extremely helpful and provided me with some great recommendations when purchasing Mass Effect! I was very happy with my experience today. I highly recommend this location! She was very knowledgeable and extremely polite! 5 Stars!

Not sure if John is your manager, but he seems like he is because the guy is more patient than a monk. As soon as I walked in I witnessed about a 10 minute phone conversation he was having with a miserable person that seemed like a complete and total jerk. He calmly and cordially professional with the guy and did everything beyond to the book.
I happily waited at the register to buy a Pokemon go gotcha that I called about earlier. Glad you guys had one!
He is also the one I spoke with about it being available at your store. He's an amazing employee!

Very impressed with customer service provided. I didn't know anything about the item my grand daughter wanted. Robin was extremely helpful regarding the details and options and made the process very easy!!

I - like any sane person - hate GameStop. Awful company with awful initiatives being pushed by awful upper management (District Leaders and higher) 95% of the time. That being said, I love the people at this store. They take the time to actually care about who you are and get to know you. You literally feel like you’re coming in to chat with your friends when you go to this store, and that’s even after only a couple of visits. As a bonus, they make you forget that you’re shopping at a GameStop because you never feel pressured into buying or preordering something you don’t want. That sort of customer service actually works in their favor, because it makes me more than happy to pre-order games and shop there when I normally wouldn’t give it a second thought and go elsewhere. I hate giving GameStop any business, but this store is one I can make an exception for thanks to the wonderful people there.

The store was kept up and the service was good. They didn't have what i was looking for. But i can never find what im looking for do to the system i have. Over all its all good
