This is the place to go for that sweet tooth, or just some very good chocolate. This is my second visit , and I'll be going back, every piece of candy is hand made , and the variety is just amazing. You will never be disappointed stopping in at Spence Candies, I can't say enough good things about this place , And ,,,, the man who waits on you is awesome. Thank you for amazing candy and service . Absolutely phenomenal. I stopped here today for the first time and was blown away not only by the sheer collection of absolutely delicious chocolates, but the incredible care I received personally as well.

I bought 2 pounds of dark chocolate and a box of truffles for my fiance and thoroughly enjoyed both the experience and discussion with the owner(s). Would travel across the county and/or state lines to give business to these folks.

10/10 and will be a regular moving forward.

Fantastic selection of chocolates. The truffles are phenomenal - so creamy and rich, and with a variety of flavor choices. The owners are incredibly friendly and personable. An absolute gem of a place in Elizabethtown and Lancaster County.

Owners are AMAZING. So friendly and helpful. All their candy is SO good. Pretty obsessed with this place. Way too much to chose from so you have to frequent OFTEN. Very addictive and a lot of one of a kind items. They'll even ship for you. They also have gift boxes and gift tins, way too much to list about Spence Candies ❤❤❤

The shop itself is enticing-- very clean and well-cared-for, filled with pretty, alluring treats. The sweets are fresh and very high quality! Treat yourself or a loved one-- you won't regret a penny or calorie spent on Spence Candies!

This place is a true gem! Run by two incredibly sweet people who love what they do. The quality is incredible, selection is vast, and pricing is very fair. I took my 5 year old son in for the first time today, and it was a memory I'll treasure forever. He got to watch Wendy Spence make the candy from a large window they have into her kitchen area. She waved at him, which made his day. Then she came out to ask if he could have a freshly made chocolate pretzel. It was still melty, and he got to eat it while I gave my order. I'm sitting in the parking lot now to write this, and Mr. Spence came out to make sure I was ok since we were sitting here a while. Heart of gold! The best, tastiest way to support a local, small, family business!

This is a wonderful mom and pop shop with a huge variety to choose from. Wendy assisted me today while I was looking for an assortment for my mother's birthday. I ended up leaving with a little bit of everything (without breaking the bank). I very much enjoyed my experience here and plan on being a return customer!

Always amazing. Service is tip top. Chocolates are delicious with a great selection overall from handmade truffles and cordials to sugar-free chocolates and other treats. Plus the price is beyond right. Whenever I'm in Etown I make a point to stop in! You can't go wrong with Spence Candies.

The chocolate covered mashmellos are AMAZING... definitely would recommend this place to anyone that like creamy milk chocolate its the best ive tasted in a long time. And the lady that helped me was very nice and very professional and i will be going back soon for some more treats.

Recently, I received many candies from this store as gift from visiting professor and his class students from Elizabethtown College. The candies were very delicious and liked by all! I can’t wait to visit them soon!

Spence is great the chocolates are fantastic and the prices can't be beat for fancy chocolate in the area. Love to stop in and make a box for friends and family as an addition to a gift or just a surprise box of chocolate.
