It’s been a while since I’ve eaten at Michael’s and honestly, I forgot what I was missing. Tonight’s dinner was incredible. We started off with toasted ravioli. They were delicious and the meat sauce was really flavorful. I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. I’m also a huge fan of the beer battered fries. The rest of our table ordered the gyro sandwich and gyro salad. Both were incredible-some of the best gyro meat I’ve ever had. The service was fast and friendly and I thought the prices were reasonable for the what had. I will definitely be back.

This place has been around a long time and you can see why when you go there. Their main focus is Greek food but have other things as well. The food was excellent from the appetizers like tzaziki and calamari to the shrimp pasta, gyros, and Greek salad. All at reasonable prices. We went on a Sunday night, and despite it being very crowded, the service was excellent. It is a bit loud, so dont expect a romantic dinner here. There is a parking lot across the street. Will be back!

We love this cozy yet popular restaurant. I ordered the large Greek salad, and my husband ordered the gyro salad. Both are huge. We also ordered hot wings and a basket of fries. Their wings are tossed in Buffalo sauce and Parmesan cheese and are phenomenal!

Some of the best food I've had in a while. The chicken, the burger, and the fries were absolutely amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

Very clean and cozy. Everyone is kind from the front of house, bar staff as well as interacting with guests feel’s homely. It was my first time here . The ordering process was a breeze as our server was very attentive and patient. The recommendation I received was for the chicken wings and may I say they exceeded my high expectations. We ordered a lot of food but it came out fast, fresh and delicious. The lamb chops were prepared to perfection and the carrot cake is the best I’ve ever had! The cake its self is so moist with the perfect blend of spices accompanied by a not overly sweet cream cheese frosting! Yum yum yum!! We’ll definitely be returning to patronize in the near future.

Michael’s offers a selection of entrees such as steaks and some seafood, but the highlight is the Greek options. The gyros are outstanding with house-made fresh pita, and the hummus is garlicky and delicious. The avgolemono is good, and the pastitsio and spanikopita are some of the best we’ve tried. They’re frequently busy, so consider a reservation.

What a lovely experience 😊. I was visiting from out of town, I'm from Europe and have a love for Greek food. My friends brought me here to try the gyro, which was delicious and authentic, I also tried a delicious sweet and savory dish of warm feta wrapped in filo pastry, than drizzled with honey - hmmmmm brought back memories of my visit to Greece. The highlight of Michaels is not the delicious food, it's the wonderful staff and cozy ambience. I will definitely be returning- thank you to Athena for being so attentive and making sure we had a unique and special experience - ευχαριστώ 🙏

I can't say enough good things about this place!! It's my favorite restaurant in the city!! The most hard-working and friendly staff you will find in the industry!! Order the gyro salad and get extra pita and your night is set. The food is absolutely dynamite and you can't go wrong with any dish. Michael's salad=perfection. Also, the chicken wings are outstanding!! 11/10 recommend!

Beautiful restaurant. AMAZING food. Literally everything we've ever ordered has been delicious! Staff is friendly and fast. Definitely try the chicken avgolemeno soup (it's a family favorite of ours). Best hot spicy wings around in my opinion. They serve toasted bread with almost everything you order YUM. Charboiled chicken is juicy & full of flavor. Hubby and oldest son love the lamb (the shank & chops). They always cook the steaks to your desired perfection. And another go to of mine is the roast beef on French loaf, of course add cheese!! If you love a good restaurant ranch look no further because you could drink theirs it's so good. Don't shy away from their French fries either because they are seasoned and crispy and perfect to dip in the ranch! Okay, we just left from dinner and now I'm hungry again lol.

Oh they also have outdoor seating and Definitely kid friendly!

Let me be blunt, I am from New York City specifically Brooklyn, New York, and I was born and raised on the Greek owned diners that got everywhere in the big city. So when my good friends that were coming from Jersey we’re coming into town they asked for a simple, nice diner, and I delivered by saying let’s meet over at Michael’s bar and Grill. I hit the jackpot my friends loved the place and it reminded them completely of the New York City diner cuisine. I ordered Mousaka and my friends ordered a steak and another friend ordered a seafood fish dish. Nobody was disappointed, and we had the time of our lives eating outside on their beautiful patio, that lines the streets. And for a brief moment, I felt like I was in Brooklyn.

I am speechless. 11/5 /22 My friend and I sat at the bar last night and despite Of being extremely busy, our beautiful bartender took excellent care of us I wish I Had asked for her name. The service and the quality of the food meets and surpasses any fine dining restaurant in St. Louis. I let the photos speak for themselves as for the quality and the professionalism, presentations. First time experience was great food was excellent great ambiance holiday experience will be back

We had the burger & ribeye steak open face sandwich. Both were very good and came with a generous portion of steak fries.
Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Another waitress offered to refill my daughter's half full soft drink.

This is my go-to to when I'm hungry for Zucchini sticks.
I'm not a vegan, but these delicious and oh so tasty Zucchini sticks are the best around St. Louis by far. Mind you, I have tried several restaurants that offer these as well, but the taste, along with the freshness of these, beat frozen ones out big time. Michael's uses fresh zucchini to make this scrumptious appetizer or entree in my books, as I ate the entire order for my lunch. See their menu I included in my review along with they have Daily Specials too. It's great for a get-together with friends or family, too.

Our cozy table in front of the fireplace was lovely. It's a bit noisy at lunch but the food is excellent and so is the service. One of my favorite Greek restaurants with great specials and wonderful French onion soup and a great burger too!

Michael's is a delicious blend of bar/pub and Greek food. Their menu can satisfy almost ones craving and they'll do it well. Weather permitting, I prefer to sit outside on the patio, which is dog friendly. The busy traffic on Manchester is not a distraction. If I can't get a table outside, one inside the bar area is the next best. The tables are packed tight to handle the crowd, but it is fun watching the staff hustling and providing friendly fast service.

Some of my standard orders are; Chicken Wings (some of the best in the city), Fries (always hot and crispy), Burgers (big, thick, juicy and cooked to your temp perfectly), Greek Salad (add gyro meat) and of course, the Gyro Sandwich. Ordering any of these will be a good choice.

The other day when I stopped in for lunch with a friend, I decided to expand my experience. I saw that they had Fried Shrimp on their Lunch Menu and asked Dana our server how it was. She gave it a good sales pitch, so I thought I'd give it a try and I am glad I did. Before that day, I cannot remember the last time I had fried shrimp as a meal.

When my lunch was delivered to our table, I was surprised at the size of my shrimp. If was a serving of four huge shrimp, that were butterflied and flattened before frying. The panko coating, gave the shrimp an extra crispy coating. I may have been spoiled with their deliciousness. I'll be scared to order Fried Shrimp at another restaurant. The fries were crispy as always and I was thankful the Cole Slaw was creamy and not a oil/vinegar blend.

Rare, do I give 5 stars, but this place had such a wow factor that I gave them a happy dance. The salad was delicious, and the French dip was equally good, absolutely amazing. Our server was wonderful, very accommodating with out be overbearing. The general mood of the place was so uplifting. I can not wait to go back

It's still a bar, but with a more enjoyable atmosphere, but once it fills up it gets kind of loud and cramped, but the AC is always cold, it's essentially a 15 $20 a person meal but the food is so worth it.
It's a place I will take my kid for lunch or my wife for a date or just pick up some food because I don't want to cook.
Best gyros I've ever had.

I had lunch with friends and they both raved about the Gyro. One had a Gyro salad and one a pita. I had a very good burger Cause I'm not very good at trying anything different.

Great little Greek restaurant, and Authentic. Gyro and warm pita and hummus were amazing. Get in early as this place is packed. Warm inviting atmosphere. I will get the rack of lamb next!
