Ray's Pizzeria & Steaks

I came here at the recommendation of a friend.

The young lady at the register was very friendly.

The cheesesteak regular with fried onions came out to $12.56
Bring cash because there is a surcharge for credit card usage.

The portion was very good.
The bread was very good.
The flavor overall was pretty good.

My only gripes. Cook the onions into the meat rather than loading them on top, and also mix the cheese into the meat as well, because the cheese was on the bottom of the roll.

Besides that, I think Ray's creeped into my Top 5, and I've tried over 50 spots, and a bit of a cheesesteak connoisseur, as well as a 7th Place Finisher at the 1st Annual Cheesesteak Bowl, so I think I know my cheesesteaks~

Best Phily cheese steak in the area. You need to try them out! I swear they should put in a revolving door because while we sat there to eat the store had a steady stream of people come in for food! You won't be disappointed!

This is one of my favorite places near my job to order dinner while I’m working. Tonight I placed an order for my usual boneless wings pretty close to closing. When I got back to work I realized they had given me bone-in wings instead. I put a note in through the ordering app to process a refund as they were already closed; within 5 minutes, I get a call from Ray’s which was very apologetic about the mixup, it was an issue with the ordering app. He even remade my wings despite the restaurant being closed! They are always very nice and the fact that he was willing to remake my food 20 minutes after closing shows how dedicated they are to their customers. Not to mention, the boneless wings are AMAZING!!! Thanks so much for the great food and great service as always!

Rays makes the absolute best cheesesteaks and hoagies. LOADED with meat and all fresh ingredients. When we lived locally, we would order take out from Rays weekly. We moved to Virginia last year & can't find a sandwich even close to comparable. Rays is our first stop whenever we visit the Lansdale area.

Love everything here as well and I love the lady's energy who works the front. She is always full of joy and fun energy that is uplifting when I stop for lunch.

Place is typical deli type atmosphere and could use some updating, but cheesesteak and hoagies are top notch.

Food was sooooo good and service was quick. So glad I got a good cheese steak why in PA.

I enjoy pizza, like most people enjoy their coffee in the morning! I've never had one bad meal at Ray's. The sandwiches are "very filling." My mouth craves a meal from Ray's. If you want pizza on another level. sandwiches that taste great! Go where you're getting your money's worth in food. I love it! you will

It you want the best cheesesteak or sub around - look no further. Ray’s is THE BEST. We are never disappointed. Every time we try somewhere else, we completely regret not just sticking with Ray’s because they are always consistently awesome. We used to live in NE Philly and Ray’s cheesesteak tops all the local known spots and their subs are the perfect balance of bread, meat and toppings. Add the French fries or wings, you can’t go wrong honestly. Love Ray’s!

Excellent spot for the best local cheesesteaks, hoagies, strombolis and puzza! Freshly made reasonably priced and we really like the fast delivery.

My first real Philly Cheesesteak and it was fantastic. I will never eat another one from here (GA). Now that I've had the best I don't want the rest.

Visited PA for business and had to get my hands on a Philly before leaving to go home. I was told to try out Ray's. I had the regular cheesesteak with onions and cheese fries. Large portions, reasonable prices, and extremely good melt in your mouth phillies!!!! You all did not disappoint! Customer service was excellent too!

First time ordering from here. Pizza was very good and the wings were way better than I expected. I normally never get wings from a pizza place but I was in the mood for them. And they were really good. Definitely ordering from here again!!!!

At Ray's pizza you get the meatiest cheesesteaks ever. No other place fills up your sandwich better than Ray's pizza.

One of the top cheese steak places in the area. We frequent here a lot when we just want a quick bite. Friendly staff and the rest of the menu is decent too. With Large portions, you never leave hungry. Definitely a regular stop for us.

Was born and raised in the area and came back for a day trip down memory lane. Had to get a sub from here as it was one of my parents favorite places for a GREAT cheese steak. And they did not disappoint at all. Great food, just like I remembered.

I s th stoped in last sat nite about 20 minutes before closing time and I order a cheesesteak with Sharpe provolone. And it tasted just like it was the first sandwich of the day the meat was nice and tender and cheese melted perfectly..I wish I had ordered a bigger size.

Had same order 2(x) in past 2 weeks on Friday. Basically a medium pizza w/ extra sauce and a small cheese steak. I like how the pizza has body to it. Not a thin pie that breaks off or sags and it's baked nice. Cheese steaks are solid for this area. Id say for sure these guys are the best pizza spot in this local.

Always love the food here! Super yummy Italian hoagie and cheese steaks! Delicious soups made daily and excellent service. You cannot go wrong with Ray's- best subs around in this area or outside Philadelphia.
