Hob Nob

We stopped by Missoula on our way to the Glaciers NP because we wanted to grab breakfast and the first two locations google has recommended were closed on mondays. The third result was Hob Nob and to say that we were very glad to have come here instead would be an understatement. I cannot begin to tell you how nice the staff was and how delicious each and every dish was. The homemade sourdough bread toasted with butter was the best I’ve ever had and the French toast with the tart fruit compote was absolutely scrumptious. The veggie omelet came with a side of sour cream and fresh salsa which was refreshing. Our coffees were also very well made. The seating is limited so there may be some wait time but it is absolutely worth it. I’m sad that I live miles away from here but I will make sure to take a detour to stop by again next time I’m in MT.

Came here for first time this morning. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a dish with eggs, roasted potatoes, onions and corned beef, with sourdough bread. It was delicious, perfectly cooked and I've never had large chunks of corned beef like that. Our day old strawberry scone was tasty, and cheap. We got a yogurt parfait which had good flavor but the ratio of granola was far too high (despite how the picture looks) so it came out somewhat dry overall. The iced chai was delicious. Overall a great experience and we recommend this Cafe!

This place had sourdough pancakes which were absolutely delicious. I went back a second time because I loved it so much. Everything they serve is great, and the prices are great for what you get.

Came here on good reviews and was not disappointed! The food was fresh and very well prepared. Best homemade Cornedbeef Hash I've had and that's a litmus test item for me. Service was outstanding as well, fast friendly and welcoming. Wish everyone in the service industry could be at that level. This is a small place so might not be great for larger groups though. Parking can be tough but some along the road in front or just before on the side street. Look forward to returning.

I couldn’t make up my mind and so I ordered two breakfast entrees - banana bread French toast and fried egg sandwich with sausage.

The banana bread was solid and firm which meant it held up with the syrup being poured on. It was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious

The egg sandwich was also delicious. Perfectly

Ordering two entries was really overkill - next time I would get just the French toast

1/8/2021: Stopped in to try their corned beef hash and it was really good. The beef very tender and flavorful, not chewy. In house made sourdough!!! Eggs cooked just the way I like, over medium. Very satisfied. Friendly service.

Amazing coffee, scrumptious pastries, delicious food, excellent service. They also have outdoor seating if you have a fur baby with you. Highly recommend. I had the Banana Bread French Toast (soooo yummy) with a side of bacon and hot cup of Mocha. Hubby had the fried egg sandwich with bacon & an Americano. And we shared a Blackberry Cream Cheese pastry (to die for).

Amazing breakfast! Super friendly staff and the food was delicious. You order at counter then grab an open table. Everything our table ordered was amazing.

One of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. The service was excellent and the coffee was great. My last day in town they had huevos rancheros as a special with shredded pork, black beans, and feta cheese mmmmm.

This place is s gem. The food was great and they make their own sourdough bread! The get pretty busy which is a good sign for quality. I’d totally go back. The hash was amazing!

Nice little drop in breakfast and lunch place. Homemade hash and Migas is served here! There is much pride in their food and service.

We are visiting Missoula for the weekend and found this gem of a place on Yelp. Our breakfast was amazing! Our favorites: corned beef hash, sourdough pancakes, migas (Tortillas scrambled with eggs and our black bean veggie burger. Topped with cheddar cheese, salsa and sour cream), and cheddar biscuits. The place is hopping because it’s so good and homey. I love the old magazine ads on the tables. Very friendly wait staff as well Glad we found it!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The latee and food we ordered was just as amazing as the service. We will be definitely going back. The serving portions were plenty.

Very nice! Service was friendly, smiley and fast, food was tasty and vegetarian options were available, which is not always a thing. I like to be able to have a choice. Good tomato soup! We got there for lunch and I loved the little touch of sprouts on every dish. Sweet spot!

This was such a wonderful place to eat breakfast! The atmosphere is really cute, the staff was incredible, and the food was amazing. The only minimal downside is their small space, which makes it feel very homey but can mean waiting a little for a table. I would highly recommend, it was also very affordable and the portions were plenty for us!

The sourdough pancakes and bacon were delicious. My hubby had the corned beef and it was so filling he couldn't even finish his plate. We also loved that the porch had seating and was pup friendly.

Fantastic and tasty food. Very small, but absolutely worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Delicious breakfast with amazing service! I appreciated being able to "customize" my order since I'm gluten and dairy free. Great atmosphere, too!

One of our favorite Missoula Spots. I have the sourdough pancakes for breakfast and the wild Sockeye Salmon burger for lunch. The veggie browns and the sweet potato fries are also winners for us. We are in our 70s and have been coming to the Nob since it was located at the back of the Union Club many years ago.
