The Montana Club Restaurant

Delicious steak, burger and appetizer. Everything we had was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Our server was right on top of things the whole meal.

Very good food and great customer service! They were short staffed at the time but still made up for it with good and kind service that accommodated our group. They always made sure to check in and see if we needed anything multiple times throughout our meal. The burgers are great! I definitely recommend any off of the menu, and prices are also good for what you get. If you ever see a Montana club and are really hungry, I definitely recommend it for a good, large, portioned American meal!

Excellent! We loved this steakhouse. I had the king cut (20-22oz) prime rib prepared rare, and my husband had the bison ribeye, rare. Both were cooked perfectly and absolutely wonderful. The loaded baked potatoes were fluffy and delicious. The drinks were great. The Reese's chocolate mousse cake was rich and delicious. We arrived about 9:30pm on a Saturday night and had no problem getting a seat. Service was very fast. Our waitress was very attentive and efficient.

Food was great! Jessica, our server was attentive, friendly, and pleasant! If we lived here we would be her regulars! Drinks were good and overall a great visit. Would definitely return next time we are in town. Thank you for the great evening!!

The Cheeseburger on salad was exactly what I wanted. Fresh mixed greens with good blue cheese dressing. Beautiful place with a large menu.

Wonderful staff, excellent food, close to plenty of hotels to walk from. Had a small mistake on ordering over the phone, mixup of names between broiled and royal, but staff went above and beyond to fix it. I'd here every day if I could afford it.

The mac and cheese was amazing. It’s a pretty loud and busy place just so people know. Great place for a nice weekend dinner.

Came in, were told it would be a 30 minute wait, ended up being less than 15 minutes, which was awesome.

Food was really good, steak was cooked perfectly. Excellent options for sides.

Server was very prompt throughout the meal, the only time he wasn't was when we were looking for change for paying the bill.

My wife and I went out to the Montana Club (Reserve St.) on a whim. Arrived 5:45 and we had about a 5 minute wait. After we were seated, took about 5 minutes for our server Brandon to arrive. We ordered the Calamari appetizer, along with "The Greek" martinis. Both were excellent!!
For main course, I had the Prime Rib and my wife had the Halibut Hemingway. Both meals super flavorful, tender, and portions were plentiful! Plenty of leftovers, which were also yummy on the reheat. Nina had a Sauvignon Blanc with the fish, and I had a 23 oz tall domestic beer with the main. We had had house salads with the mains and they so fresh and crispy and the Blue Cheese dressing was quality.
Service was attentive and very friendly. Thank you, Brandon and staff for a wonderful evening!

first time here, new favorite place. came for dinner and didnt even care about the price. was all worth it! the experience, the atmosphere, the lighting. it was perfect. I ended up getting the caramel bacon cheese curds, Southwest chicken soup, and the bacon bleu sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes cooked rare.

Amazing meal every single time. We have one of these in Billings and it doesn't come close to the quality of the Missoula restaurant.

Our first experience at The Montana Club Restaurant, and is was fantastic. The interior is very inviting, we were greeted promptly and seated just as quickly. We enjoyed the the Bison Ribeye and the 45 day aged choice cut ribeye. The staff was wonderful and attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend and will eat here again!

Every time I visit, they have really good food and beer. I like the portions and get my fill here when I am in town. Enjoy the atmosphere and the great service. I will be back. If you want to know: I had a couple Moose Drool Ambers, Chips & Salsa and French Dip for main course (do recommend).

The food is always delicious, and nothing I have ordered there has been too heavy as to cause lethargy. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. I never feel rushed by the staff, and the atmosphere exudes comfort. Also, the restrooms are very nice and clean, which is always a plus

Everything was lovely, the food was hot, served promptly and the server was very nice.

The coconut margarita is to die for!

The only thing I wish was different - they serve these nice, long asparagus but the ends are always tough and woody. But I love eating at the Montana Club and will go back often!

The only surprise about this review is that it's the first time I've ate at the Montana Club!

This place is practically an institution of the state with locations in all the civilized metropolises of Montana offering a long-standing tradition of top notch service and food.

I lunched down on a Jack Daniels melt (patty melt - one of those true metrics of a restaurant's kitchen) and enjoyed every bite of it. From the marbled rye to the grilled onions my bread stayed dry and the tastiness kept comin. Definitely a solid menu item.

Give them a try if you haven't.

Great food and a big shout out for our waiter, Blake. We were travelling and looking for an oasis to recharge. Food quality, atmosphere and service all matched up. Be sure to try the berry cobbler--an amazing finish to a great meal.

This use to be one of my favorite restaurants in Missoula, but it's went downhill as far as the food goes. Last time I ate there, everything tasted subpar. The tomato soup tasted like canned tomato sauce, and when I said something about it the manager (or whoever he was; about 23 years old) tasted it and agreed with me. Everything was just blah, but instead of comping my ticket for horrible food, they comped one drink.. I wasn't complaining about my drink lol.. and if I was a manager and agreed that the food was bad, I would have comped the whole ticket to make sure that the person would have came back. I would like to know how your experience is, hopefully it has improved.. because like I said it used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but not anymore.
UPDATE: went back April 2022, and it was awesome:) the food was great, the server was awesome.. I'm glad I gave it another chance.. I'm hoping when I go again (which I plan to) it is still great!!

Went for dinner after a long day of riding. Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Food was also really good.
