Friends Thrift Shop

Oh my goodness, this is the absolute nicest thrift store in the area! I dropped by for the first time today and was so pleased to see that the whole store is clean, items are beautifully displayed, and there are actual deals on nice items to be had. To top it off all the employees were genuinely nice and helpful! I walked in with an open mind and walked out with two brand new large umbrellas, board games, original signed paintings, kids books, and a handful of winter hoodies. I was tempted by even more than what I bought, believe me. 10/10 top notch store, will be back!

I have bought several large items from the Friendship shop. I am very pleased with them and also the price. I highly recommend it to everybody. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I have also donated quite a few things and it makes me happy that they are going to a good cause.

I've been shopping here on and off for about 7 years. A few years back they hired a new manager Dan.
Immediately you could see changes being done. The workers were very nice especially Wanda, always smiling. The store began to look beautiful. They began to showcase items and rotate holiday decorations. I always feel welcome and now I shop weekly. Dan is always very busy but always takes the time to say hello
Prices are good, merchandise is execellent. Weekly specials. It is definitely the best second hand thrift store in Western PA........

I volunteered for a couple years in a Pittsburgh Thrift Store and have visited many others. This is the CLEANEST, most ORGANIZED, friendliest Thrift Shop I have ever seen! Everything including the small employee lounge to the back storage rooms. WONDERFUL!

This place is amazing! It was recommended to me to go here after I went to Goodwill in Monroeville. I was out searching for picture frames and serving platters for a Wedding. The staff is nothing but helpful and friendly and it is a very well organized store. everything is so reasonably priced I feel like I need to give them more money for what I got. Wonderful selection of furniture and HomeGoods as well as kitchenware and even items for pets. Would highly recommend! Will be back again for sure.

Such a cool place to stop into now and again. All the merchandise is always changing and updating and the prices are good. Not to mention, the employees are there out of the kindness of their hearts and such hardworkers. The perfect place to head to if you're in need of things for a new apartment/space and low on cash, or in search of unique items. I've purchased 2 Olivia and Joy purses from there over time, and both are my favorties, out of all that I own.

I am a professional thrift store shopper who goes to these places weekly so when I have out a five star rating this place should be on your list. Very friendly staff of people who have helped me to get some great items each time I visit the store.
Out of all of the many thrift stores in the greater Pittsburgh area this one is my very favorite place to visit. Love It! 4.0 A+

I'm the kid who always comes in looking for records. I absolutely love it here; it's always clean, and everyone's always friendly, as the name implies.

This place is awesome! Great stuff at very reasonable prices! I bought a gorgeous couch that I love! They have $10 bag sales that you fill up a bag with clothes. Good fun!

Fabulous store.......super + outstanding manager. He is the best. All of the items for sale r good to beautiful to wunnerful. The most enchanting store ever.

Amazing !!! So many treasures to discover ! It's an adventure every time ! Stuff they have is of great quality for pennies, yes. Pennies on the dollar !!!

They take the time to check the donations carefully. They make sure the furniture is in good condition and if something needs tightening, they do that. All proceeds stay local.

For a thrift store they have a good selection and good prices. It is well organized and quite clean. They also have an elevator to the 2nd floor.

They are only open limited hours on some days, so it is wise to plan your visit accordingly.

Its an actual thrift store and i love it, not many places like this left!

My girlfriend said: It has bigger variety of things, more brand name clothing from what Ive seen, more and nicer furniture for an apartment. Etc.
