Cedars Mediterranean Cuisine

Last month I visited this jewel of restaurant with two colleagues and were pleasantly impressed by the service and food. The salad was one of my favs with the falafel. The server was kind enough to translate some of the menu and also give some background as well. Worth the drive.

Wonderful food and decently large portion sized which I liked. The serving staff are very very knowledgeable in the menu and are great at recommending items. They also have a great lunch special during the week.

I will say, I had trouble finding them the first time because of the posters over the windows. From the inside the windows look clear, but from the outside I wasn't sure where the door was at first glance...

Ever since Cedars has opened up, the owners are always friendly and helpful with explaining the menu items. The food is always made to order. Everything is always delicious even the Lebanese coffee. Make sure you come hungry, you will get your money's worth!!!! So much better than chain restaurants.

We made reservations for 5:30 and had the place to ourselves for almost our entire meal. My daughter said the pork chops were amazing!

We found this little place traveling through the area. It was so delicious and fresh! Service was fantastic too! Get the Lebanese rice with your meal, and definitely get the Cedars Special Vegetable Sauce to add on top. You'll thank me!

I’ve had a lot of similar food/restaurants in this area. This is one of the best for sure. It’s a quaint little dining area that’s welcoming. Excellent service and atmosphere. The food was amazing. Just the right portion sizes, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. Will definitely return.

Dinner there was fantastic as always. Started with an appetizer sampler. The tabouli and baba were exceptional - super fresh and flavorful. I had the beef schwarma (add the spicy sauce and Lebanese rice) and my wife had the chicken schwarma. Everything was cooked to perfection and so delicious. Rena, the hostess, was super kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend.

Another fantastic lunch yesterday at Cedars Mediterranean in McMurray! This is my go to place for authentic Lebanese food at a family owned restaurant.

I usually get lamb kafta, but I branched out yesterday and got the combination platter for one. Included was kafta, rice, salad, two stuffed grape leaves, kibbee, and a choice of two appetizers (I picked hummus and tabouleh) as you can see, it's a lot of food, so I took half home!

If you're new to Lebanese food, just ask Reina, who is one of the owners and also the server.

To me food is family, and I felt like family. I asked for suggestions and was so happy with their response. It was amazing. It was an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Hands down the absolute best Lebanese/Mediterranean food in all of Pittsburgh. The owner is very clearly passionate and proud of her home cooked recipes and is eager to please. On the pricey side but worth every penny.

This is a great place with true authentic Mediterranean food. The food was fresh and amazing. The service and staffing was professional but very friendly and family like atmosphere. Can't say enough good things about this place and would recommend to anyone I know to order food from here.

OMG the Beef Shawarma Plate was delicious. Probably the best shawarma I had in the States. Sides that came with the plate was also super good. Waitress was also really kind.

Great food and service, this place is a hidden gem! The spicy chicken is amazing and they have the absolute best hummus! You won’t be disappointed.

Been eating here for around 7 years, and EVERY time it's consistently DELICIOUS! What's more, all my friends and family have enjoyed the food too - even the folks dining in I've overheard raving about the food. The owners are kind and respectful, so the experience is always a pleasure. This really is an A+ quality place. I'd urge anyone to give it a try. They make great take out, too!
