Townsend Park

I was exploring new parks in the area looking for somewhere with a trail and also a paved parking lot as my kids are learning to ride their bikes. This park was absolutely perfect. They have a pond that they stock with fish for the kids which is so precious. The area around the pond is inviting and so peaceful. There was a small paved lot for my kids to practice riding their bikes which was absolutely perfect. The trails were awesome. We’ve been back 3 times and there’s rarely ever any other people there. It’s truly a hidden gem!

Love this place. Great local park. We go here often and love the Joey Gombosh fishing derby the cub scouts help put on.

The 2 ladies who sang were very good. The woodfire pizza was also very good! It was a very relaxing evening!!! We miss the golf cart rides to & from the parking area though.

Very beautiful park with a lovely pond and gazebo. Had a great fall hike there today. And very few people which made it serene.

Nature! Some white pines. Mostly deciduous. Occasional Barred owl. Great place for a relaxing walk in nature

Beautifully kept! Nice walking park! Great pond! Dog walking facilities....and off leash walking Dawn until 3:00 M-F. Ball parks, paved walking and trails! Great park! Closes at dusk.

Small pond for fishing. Great for little kids.

Great and beautiful park. Its small and secluded very nice and i would recommend for wedding events or party's.

Nice park for hiking, fishing, or having a cookout. The hiking trails have a lot of pretty native plants.

So peaceful and clean , caught a few small fish but saw some big ones in the water . Will definitely go back 👍

Fun little family park. Fishing, softball and baseball, plus lots of hiking trails.

We rented this location for a wedding celebration. Everything was reasonably priced and staff was very friendly and accommodating.
