The coffee here is exceptional but it's not just the coffee that makes this place special; it's the staff and ambience.

Randomly searched based on the reviews and convinced my friends to join me before we drive to Spokane for our flight. They all loved the vibe that every single friend bought some drink for them.

The gift section is amazing, I bought myself a small diary 📔 which I keep for my travel experiences. There was a basement and top floor; the top floor was closed I believe because of Labor day holiday and not enough people but the downstairs basement was spacious with some books and privacy.

I got a huckleberry chocolate or coffee I forgot but it was a good cup of joy, enjoyed every sip of it until I reached Idaho. 😅

But, I highly RECOMMEND and you must stop here to get yours if you’re driving through Kalispell.

Colter Coffee is a great place to get a cup of coffee and hangout while you’re in Kalispell. The coffee is wonderful, plus they sell local business creations inside. It’s a great place right off main street and the owners and staff are precious people!!

I absolutely love this coffee house. Quiet and charming with its brick wall of local art and easy listening music playing. A pleasant cliche of a place that should not regret the adjective. It holds a modern appeal while being classic at the same time.

Colter Coffee stands out not just for its amazing coffee but also for its incredibly warm and welcoming staff. The ambiance is calming and relaxing, and when we rented the lower level for a baby shower, we discovered a charming space with plenty of room.

Downtown Kalispell's best coffee lounge. If your looking for a taste of local caffeine this is the spot. The baristas were very helpful and knowledgeable. We stopped by to grab coffee on our way out to glacier national park and definitely glad we picked Colter Coffee. Make sure you try one of their croissants too!!!

Colter is my go-to coffee shop when I'm in town. Not only is the coffee great but the whole atmosphere is worth the visit. It has such a cozy feel and is a great spot to work remote or grab coffee with a friend. Local art is sold on the walls and there is a little corner of goodies for sale too. They always have nice 'coffee-house' music playing and it smells amazing. Definitely recommend stopping in when you're in the area 🥰

Perfect spot to sit out a summer rain shower. The best dirty iced chai I’ve EVER had - I got mine spiced. My partner got a White Russian latte which was also tasty!

Colters Coffee never disappoints! I always get my white chocolate mocha here & it always taste so good. Plus they know how to draw coffee art on your coffee drink which makes the coffee taste even better!

One of our favorite coffee spots! We’ve come here many times and had a large group a few of those times, doesn’t bother them at all. They’re pastry selection is top notch and their drinks are really good!

Quaint little shop easily visible. Convenient parking right out the door and nearby.
Pastries and drinks available; I did not personally get anything, but other people in my party got refreshers which I sipped and they were delicious.
They have seating in the main entry-level area, along with a smaller room toward the back, and finally all of downstairs is one big comfortable seating area, which we chose. Downstairs there were several seating areas with couches and comfy chairs. They also have a shelf with free books available.
On the date of our visit, social media influencer @emogoatmom visited and posted to her story! Sadly we had just missed her.

Loved my Giant latte ! I appreciate real china cups too. The scones are delicious. Tons of seating and relaxed atmosphere.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My order was quickly and accurately filled. The atmosphere is relaxed. A wonderful place to have a cup of tea or coffee and a pastry to eat while you visit with a friend, read a couple of chapters from a good book or work on your laptop. An absolute favorite!

Very kind service and great, truly unique signature drinks! I loved the Huckleberry White Chocolate mocha. It comes with a very creamy house-made whipped cream and they even make their own marshmallows! Never had a coffee like it
