I recently had the pleasure of hiring CertaPro of Fairfield to paint the exterior of my home, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with Tim Schultz’s work. From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional skills were evident.
First and foremost, Tim’s communication and punctuality were outstanding. In spite of weather related interruptions to the start, he promptly responded to my inquiries, his crew arrived on time for every scheduled appointment, and completed the project in a very tight schedule.
When it came to the actual painting process, his painters exhibited nothing less than perfection. They meticulously prepared the surfaces, ensuring that everything was properly cleaned, patched, and primed before starting.
I must also mention Tim’s exceptional work ethic. Throughout the project, he maintained a clean and organized work area, minimizing any disruption to our daily routine.
Finally, Tim’s commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in his willingness to go the extra mile. He gladly addressed any concerns or changes I had during the process, always with a positive and accommodating attitude. Even returning to “touch up” after the bill was paid!
In conclusion, I highly recommend this house painter to anyone in need of a professional and skilled painter.

Simply put, Tim is an unusual contractor in many ways.

And this is somewhat unique in the professional painting and carpentry trade.

He keeps his word and delivers what he promises, even if he does not anticipate an unusual event. Tim would simply adhere to his word and professional ethic. Sometimes that ethic costs him more in the long run, but he satisfies his client.

And that is Tim's goal.

In terms of courtesy, Tim is simply number One with regard to his commitments. If Tim says that he will show up at a particular time or day, he will be there.

Bank on it!

Moreover, Tim would rather apply the extra effort in resolving tough issues (painting, carpentry, etc.) than simply cutting corners.

During the process of working together, it always became clear that Tim would rather go the extra distance, spend a bit more time, apply a different tactic, or possibly even start over on something that was not fully anticipated.

Tim's innate and built-in professional ethic, knowledge, experience, and courtesy places him on the top-shelf among the vast array of contractors I've hired in the past.

Moreover, Tim never exhibits any despair, frustration, or pessimism -- even when an unusual event occurs. One way or another, the issue would be resolved without any elevated annoyance.

Ultimately, I certainly believe Tim is one of a kind in the contractor business.

I recall that Tim on one occasion was working on some exterior carpentry at the front of my home that provided great curb appeal. Tim was working to get things "just right," but ran into some tricky obstacles.

PS: Most other contractors would have ignored the issue, thrown up their arms in despair, requested a larger budget, or cut corners to save time and expense.

In the end, Tim solved the issue in a better manner than either of us anticipated.

It was a pleasure working with Tim from CertaPro. He was very responsive and gave me a reasonable estimate which he was able to fit in my budget. I hired CertaPro for a last minute interior painting job. Wilmar was our painter and he did such a fantastic job! Literally it looks like magic! Every hole and imperfection disappeared. I will definitely hire Tim and his team again.

I cannot speak highly enough of Tim Schultz and his crew. Tim is always on top of the work and very often brings items to our attention that we hadn't noticed or even considered. The work is always done on time and with greatest attention. The interior painting in our home required special care. The dark stained wood throughout needed to be treated before it could be painted white. The ceilings were textured, so needed to be sanded and compounded to smooth. Tim's terrific crew breezed through it all.

The comfort of knowing that Tim is always reachable and responsive is immeasurable. No question or concern is ever taken lightly. We've hired many painters over the years. Tim and his crew are by far the best.

Tim helped us navigate the best approach to our exterior paint job. The outcome was perfect in scope & quality.

Great experience... as someone who hates DIY they took the reins with great attention to detail and an easy attitude. They made the experience painless and the results are top notch. I’m happy to say my taping and painting days are over.
