I ordered the big guy combo and the bishop sandwich and they were hands down, the best sandwich I have ever came across. The workers were very nice. I will be back again!

Great people all around! The owner is fantastic for helping us out over at my rowing club by helping us hungry rowers out. These people are amazing and they have really tasty sandwiches. I got to try some sandwich with peppers and mozzarella with porsciutto and it was phenomenal! Amazing place. Must try.

A really great spot. One of the best Italian delis around. Everything is really good, including some of the foods they make in house of course. Can't miss, definitely need to try.

We went in seeking a breakfast sandwich (which was not on the menu) but the owner went above and beyond, making a HUGE egg and cheese (delicious) sandwich, and packing us a bag with 2 different types of chicken and homemade bread for NO Charge!! He was engaging with my family, making jokes, conversation, and prepping for his busy day. This is a real Italian deli!! The owner is adorable and kind. I can see why all his reviews are spectacular! penelope and family.

I rarely post reviews but this place was so great! I was in town visiting a friend and found it on google recs and it did not disappoint. Staff was so friendly on the phone and the contactless counter pickup was seamless. Sandwich was so fresh and delicious + well priced. Will be back !!

I Had to start eating my sub before I could even get a picture, that’s how good this place is. The staff was super welcoming, funny and got me in and out in no time. Parking in the front is limited so I would suggest parking in the back!

The best deli and the best customer service. I can't thank Milano enough for his greeting every time I stop by. The whole team is amazing and they are always happy. The food is delicious no matter what you order. Everything is excellent.

My wife and I found this place after being frustrated at not finding any descent lunch options as we were driving along I-95 in western Connecticut. We finally hopped off an exit, glanced at Yelp, and stumbled across a deli that was within a short distance. It turned out to be an absolute gem! I will NEVER pass through Connecticut again without stopping here. I visited the Post Rd location and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff were more than friendly, they made us feel like family, and our sandwiches were carefully crafted into masterpieces. My only regret is that we did not find out the name of the gentleman who made our sandwiches. We can't wait to get back to Gaetano's!

What every Italian deli should aspire to be. Sandwiches are best around and well worth the wait around lunchtime. Genuinely nice people make you feel at home.
