I have known Eric since before Twisted Scissors has begun and I can say with 100% certainty that he has always made my hair look amazing! He has encouraged me to change up my hair when I wasn’t confident enough and I have always walked out of the salon looking and feeling better than before I came in. I trust that no matter what Eric decides to do with my hair it will look good and would trust him to do my hair blind! 100% recommend him as a stylist and your hair will look amazing when he’s done!

Eric is an amazing stylist that is very professional, caring and listens to what you want. He takes his time to achieve what you are looking for. He never double books appointments like other stylists I have been to. Literally the best hair cut and also the best blonde pop when I need it.

I can’t say enough about Twisted Scissors in Shelton! I have been hearing about how good they are for over a year now, and finally found time to schedule an appointment! So happy I did! Eric knows his stuff! And his highlights are meticulous, every foil intentionally placed. Now, a couple weeks later, I am still thrilled with my results, and my hair is still so soft!! Thanks again Eric! I have definitely found my new forever salon!

Eric is the absolute best around! He has been doing my hair since he graduated from cosmetology school and every single time I leave the salon feeling like a celebrity. I go to him with no plan in mind and let him have "free range" with my hair to do whatever he feels and not once have I ever been disappointed. I have even had a complete stranger approach me in the grocery store to compliment my hair who happened to be a hairdresser somewhere else. Even if it's been 3 months since my last appointment, I still get compliments about my hair and people think it's been recently done. I carry his cards with me and hand them out to anyone who asks about my hair. I have sent him many new customers who all absolutely love him and even my sister who lives out of state and never been to him has referred friends that have moved to the area. He treats his clients like the Queens that we are, not to mention gives the best scalp massages ever!

I have been seeing Eric for three years for my color & cut. I have lived in LI., NY, NJ, & CT. He is the best Hairdresser I have gone to, he is a professional, Knowledgeable & a caring individual. i recommend Eric highly!

Last night was the first time I went to Rena and I CANNOT wait to go back. From the minute I walked into her salon, she was warm and welcoming. She made me feel like I have known her for years. The vibe of Twisted Scissors is unmatched. There is such positive energy. Her and Eric were so friendly. Rena did an amazing, amazing job on my hair. The color is beautiful and so natural. The cut is perfect. My hair looked so shiny and healthy when I left. Thank you so much, Rena!

Just moved here from out of state about a month ago. Left my stylist of 15 yrs. Finally couldn’t take my roots anymore and nervously made an appt. I could not be more pleased with Eric’s professionalism, knowledge, suggestions and the final outcome. It’s a scary thing letting someone new touch your hair and I’m thoroughly please and relieved to have found a new place. 100% will be back. THANK YOU ERIC!!!

I highly recommend Twisted Scissors! I have gone to Rena for years and she never ceases to amaze me . I have very fine hair and she always makes me look like I have a shiny , healthy , full head a hair! I never leave disappointed. I have also used Eric multiple times if mine and Rena’s schedules didn’t jive. He is equally as talented, professional and attentive to your needs. They use amazing products and the salon is beautiful. You will never be disappointed with either of these two extremely talented artists !

I just had my first appointment with Eric today two weeks after a terrible highlight and haircut experience somewhere else and I can't thank him enough. He was patient and knowledgeable and although I just made an appointment for a consultation and a haircut, he made time to fix my color as well. My hair feels so much better now and the color is amazing. I would highly recommend and will not be going anywhere else for my hair. Thanks again Eric!

LOVE LOVE LOVEEE twisted scissors. Eric does my extensions and not only his shampoo the best shampoo i have ever had but i love how he does my extensions!

I went to Eric at Twisted Scissors after another salon completely botched my hair. What was supposed to be a black to silver ombré left me looking like a red panda. But the stars aligned and I found Eric. He made my expectations realistic for what he could do with my damaged hair, found something he could do that I adored, and explained each step as he went. I LITERALLY cried tears of joy when he was finished. I can’t recommend Twisted Scissors enough and honestly can’t wait to go back.

Highly recommended!! The studio itself is very clean and beautiful! Rena is amazing! Very professional and attentive to what you want. I’ve gotten many haircuts and even a color from her! She is so dedicated to making sure you are happy. I have never left disappointed - I always leave feeling so beautiful!

Rena has been my hairdresser for almost 10 years now and I just simply won’t see anyone else. I think even if I was to move I would have to specifically come back just to see her for a haircut. Shes professional, personable and I have never left an appointment unhappy.
