The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly. The place is extremely clean and well organized. I RECOMMEND THIS 100%... and Mediterranean food is on the top of the healthy scale. Great to have healthy take-out options.

By far and away the best Greek food in the area. This restaurant has tons of extremely fresh ingredients to choose from, sourced locally too. Service is very fast and professional. Members of the staff here go out of their way to be friendly to guests which is fantastic. Great indoor and outdoor seating. If you are in the area definitely stop in, you are guaranteed to enjoy your meal here. Try the Greek Mountain Tea with Honey as an added bonus with your meal.

I wish I lived closer! Or not, because I would be poor from eating here everyday 😆 super tasty and delicious! It’s not cheap for “fast food” but it’s healthy and fresh, so that’s expected vs junk fast food! They have ample options to choose from, whether you are an omnivore or vegan. Well worth the money! I will be back

Great fast casual Greek restaurant. Perfect for a very filling lunch while working in a nearby office building. The service is always friendly and fast.

I greatly appreciated the vegan options. I wish they were labeled in-store, but they are labeled online.

The restaurant is still pretty new and the atmosphere is typical of the type of restaurant but also tastefully done.

Love this place! Wife and I go at least once a week. The food always taste super fresh and just a healthier option than all of the alternatives. Saying it’s chipotle (building bowls) but for Greek food doesn’t do it justice. Salads are super filling. Lemon herb dressing is amazing. Definitely do yourself a favor and get the hummus. It’s bright and lemony and even kids love it. And the people that work there couldn’t be friendlier. Enjoy!

Absolutely love this place! I’ve been going here for about 2 years now, and they are consistently good! My favorites are the chicken feta meatballs and their new dill chicken salad pita sandwich….seriously SO good and SO fresh every time.

The food is fresh & delicious. So many options. My family was able to customize each of their meals, something for everyone. Beautiful and clean store front (you can take out or eat in) with excellent service. A must try if you haven't been yet! Try the greek fries and the baklava. Both were amazing........

We had lunch catered to our office. Everything was delicious! We had a build your own bowl spread which included greens, orzo, rice, the best lemony potatoes, awesome chicken meatballs, falafel, tomato, cucumber & feta salad. We had a variety of toppings which included humus, beet humus, crazy feta and tzatziki along with fresh pitas. Everything was so fresh. One of the best lunch or dinner spots in Shelton!

Just had the Chicken Feta Spinach meatballs in a pita with the best home made tzatziki! The Chicken meatballs were absolutely amazing, I also had the spanakopita which was like my grandmothers! This wasn't only delicious but it was very healthy! Can't wait to order again.

Tried this local restaurant and had a great experience which began with the wonderful aromas that hit us as soon as we opened the door. The staff was very helpful and patient while explaining the options and answering our questions. We brought the food home and enjoyed every bite. The different sauces and toppings recommended by the staff all went well together. Looking forward to going back soon!

Delicious! Urban Greek is not only one of my favorites but my entire family’s. The atmosphere and staff are extremely welcoming. They are very helpful with explaining their various options for green, grains, proteins, toppings, etc. each of which are always fresh & flavorful! My family has gone several times with larger orders and they are extremely efficient and even offered to write our names on the bowls for easy identification. I highly recommend trying Urban Greek.

Had lunch here for the first time with my mom today. My mom had never had Greek food and had no idea what to expect but offered to go because I wanted it. The woman working was so unbelievably patient and kind to both of us. She took the time to explain all the options, moved slowly as my mom took time to look at things and decide, and kept a smile on her face the whole time seeming as though she really truly was there to curate what each guest needed to have the best experience. On top of that, the food was DELICIOUS. Good size portions for the money compared to other places I’ve been. This place is a gem and I will definitely tell everyone to eat there! The food was wonderful but the friendly, caring staff made the biggest impact on me.

We've been looking for a local Greek restaurant and boy have we found a gem!! The staff was incredibly helpful and patient as I muddled over all the delicious options and combinations freshly presented to me. The pricing is fair, the variety is great and the flavor was everything I could have hoped for! So happy to find this spot! And they have Boylan's on tap! My boyfriend loves the Red Cream Birch Beer flavor, so that's a wish list item for the next time we visit. Very clean and open atmosphere inside too.

This BYO bowl was one of the best meals i ever had! I ordered it for delivery to work and i was so excited when it came! I had to leave a review because i was that impressed. Would order from here every day if i could!

I just love this place!!! Staff is awesome and the food is delicious & fresh. Restaurant is so clean and I love all the authentic Greek options, from the drinks to desserts. Wish there was a location closer to the Hartford area!

My review is based on a dozen visits. This is a gem in Shelton! Good options whether you're looking to fit your macros or indulge. The staff is always so friendly and nice! Healthy options, vegetarian/vegan options, and tasty proteins. Every bowl always makes you feel like you're in a greek summer; look at the colors they use! The olives are imported from Greece! Everything is well seasoned. It's hard to escape the greek fries... good luck driving home with them; sitting in your passenger seat they essentially trap you into an oven with their aroma and then you're forced to have to bite into their crispy crunchy outside only to meet the soft part of the potato ensconced in a bed of feta, herbs, spices and the right amount of salt. And it's that perfect auditory type of crunch that tells your ears you're eating freshly crisped fries. I sometimes like to put lamb on top of the fries (which what you may see in my pic). Are you still reading? Just go there already.

Delicious Greek food on the go! Plenty of healthy veggies and delicious hummus flavors! Try the green goddess you won’t regret it. A bit pricey, but worth it.

This place is unreal! They make delicious and fresh food that gives you that home cooked feeling when you don’t feel like cooking. The staff is super friendly and always greets you as you enter the store and always helps my friends who are first timers understand the concept and build their own bowls. 10/10 would recommend. I also keep my order typed in my notes in case someone asks me if I want anything from Urban Greek 😊
