Stop & Shop

They Remodeled and this was my first time with the new look inside. Very clean and organized and shiny, including the food items. The lighting is excellent for reading all the merchandise details. I’m impressed. Also they have a much larger selection of Organic healthy food. The staff was very helpful at self-checkout after I created an error scanning. Very helpful staff.

Had to contact customer service for a problem. Serenity was very helpful. Gave me as much information as she could and was very prompt. I can't remember the last time I had such a positive customer service experience ever, anywhere.

Kathy, in the Shelton, CT floral department, is such a dedicated employee of Stop & Shop. She cares about the customers and consistently aims to please. Her department is always a pleasure to stroll through. The flowers and plants are well-cared for and so attractively arranged. She is always pleasant and goes above and beyond to do far more than expected. Most recently, Kathy made beautiful bows for me for Christmas bouquets, wreaths and my tree. Her special touch has made Christmas something to look forward to. I am grateful.

Margaret is always on point. She makes it more friendly to shop.always a help.

Place is quaint best thing about them is the cheat sheet they have at the end of the isle that let's you know where everything is at

I've always loved Stop&Shop,prices are decent,and selection is GREAT!

I always find what I need , and I like the wide variety they offer.

When I ask I always get help. Alot of parking and disabled parking accessible. Clean store good specials. I Never have a problem.

I recently went to Stop & Shop for the first time while visiting some family! The store was great and really did have some good stuff! The highlight of my visit was when I was helped by a very wonderful worker, Noah. He was so kind and helpful and really took time out of his busy schedule to help and answer some of my questions! Please give him a raise or something!!! He deserves it! I will definitely visit again soon!!! Please bring Stop & Shop to Minnesota! Please bring Noah there as well!

Wide isles and not crowded at all, very courteous and helpful staff and I wouldn't mind shopping there more often.

I do instacart there all summer- 4-5x daily @ S & S, among all the other stores. The employees here are exceptional! They always have the answers and are very hard working and wonderful to deal with. I hope mngt acknowledges the real stars they employ…
However, I always self ckout. If I could, I’d rate those registers -1. They are awful.
Every time, I’m reprimand for the following (by the self Ck patronizer):
•Moving bags around in bagging area
•Not bagging fast enough
•Removing bags due to no room
•Placing scanned items improperly on bagging area
And last but the worst ever reprimand:
**Not removing your bagged groceries fast enough.
Makes me understand the feeling of a hen pecked husband, even tho I was a wife! She doesn’t quit.. Those self ckouts are the worst of all the stores in the area. I’m an authority on that. Please help all of us and fix that mess!

This is not just another grocery store, because it has the best employee I have ever meet. John in the meat department was absolutely awesome! He was happy, very polite and went out of his way to try and find what I needed and after a minute or so he found it. He was a pleasure to talk to and just an all around great guy. If all employees were more like him the world would be a better place. So thank you for your help John. You are awesome.

My cashier, Michelle, was a delight!! I plan on writing a letter to the store manager and just hopefully he'll be able to identify who she was because she definitely deserves recognition. There was no register number noted on my receipt just her name but she really was great! The store was clean and fairly well stocked.

Awesome workers especially the petite one who works nights. She presents Great customer service. Clean supplied store. Safe...need I mention the security on deck for ALL you late alone shoppers like myself😜

I have been going to this Stop & Shop for over 15 years. Other than the lack of updates to the inside of the Store its not a bad place to grocery shop. If you bank with Peoples United Bank the in store branch is convenient and the store itself is pretty clean. Service is OK depending on how busy the store is. It's not the least expensive place to buy groceries but it is easy and generally fast to check out whether you are buying a lot or a little.

Just used the on line pick up service at the Shelton store and it was great! Many time slots to choose from, everything we ordered was in stock and there was no more than a 2 minute wait for groceries to be brought out and loaded into our car! Will definately be using this service again!
Much better than another online pick up service we were using where items were constantly out of stock and long wait times for groceries to be brought out. Thank you Stop and Shop Shelton!

This stop and shop is very professional compared to others that I've been to. Also, the quality of the workers are so much better. Very helpful workers, kind cashier's, wonderful selections of Veggie meats, great deals.
