First & Last Tavern Glastonbury

I came here back in June to celebrate my boyfriend’s graduation. I got the shrimp scampi, it was soooo good! I loved it! My boyfriend got angel hair pasta with marinara. He wasn’t the biggest fan of it unfortunately. We came here with his family and they all enjoyed their food. The staff there were nice.

Awesome quality food, had to order arugula salad with shrimp (for keto diet) but it was so satisfying! Large grilled shrimp aside a light, crunchy, fresh salad! The bartender was not super friendly. Would totally go back! From a past experience, their seasonal cranberry margarita is phenomenal!!

Best wings by far! Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and wonderful service! We’ll be back for sure!

Honey hot boneless chicken appetizer was AWESOME! Steak and cheese was real steak not the thin stuff. The wife's barbeque chicken sandwich was even better. The barbeque sauce was unbelievably excellent and had an distinctly different taste that made us do the happy food dance lol. Great service as well!

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I was doing takeout. I have to admit, they only gave 2 little blue cheese for the wings, so I though I'd need more, but the wings were so flavorful and moist, that I really didn't need much at all!

I went with the honey hot oven wings, which were actually pretty good. It didn't have the crispness as a straight fried wing, but the crisp was still there. The juiciness and flavor more than made up for it, though. I definitely recommend you try their wings out the next time you're around!

My first east coast grinder was the sausage with peppers and onions add cheese. Oh what a delight!. Top 5 sandwiches of my life.

My mom and I ate here together earlier this week. It was a wonderful experience overall. Food was tasty, and our server Olivia was super friendly and made our night better

I went to First & Last at the recommendation of a friend and now it’s one of my favorite places to grab food. The pizza is awesome- I would highly recommend the eggplant pizza (read: there’s ricotta and it’s wonderful). The wings are also crispy and delicious. I like that they have their tavern classics menu- the picture included is of their spaghetti, meatball, sausage, and salad plate, which is really well-priced and reminds me of a classic family dinner.

Food was very good. Service was great without hovering. Definitely recommend.

The first time meeting at this place it was pretty good to say the least the portions were great the food was amazing the service was good the waitress was knowledgeable price was great what more can I say it just a good place I will be back and if you haven't been there you should be there I got chicken Marengo and she got chicken parmesan

Great service and seating very relaxed. We had apps, pizza, linguine with clam sauce and chicken milanese. Olivia served us and was awesome!

My date and I ended up at the First and Last Tavern in Glastonbury for drinks and dessert after having a very sub-par dinner experience at one of the other restaurants in the same plaza. We were immediately given a table despite being busy on a Friday night. Our server, Olivia was bubbly, enthusiastic and personable in contrast with the waitress at the other restaurant, which was a breath of fresh air. She had immediately brought us some bread (we were never given any at the other restaurant) and spent time talking to us despite the restaurant being busy. After we had told her about our previous experience and that we were there for dessert, she proceeded to bring us two cannolis, on her, in hopes our experience at First and Last would be much better. Our dessert and drinks were delicious as were the cannolis. Thank you, Olivia, for turning what had started off as a bad dining experience into a good one – your energy, personality and enthusiasm was top notch, as was the service and food at First and Last. We will definitely be back!

Today, a beautiful late fall day, we ate at First & Last for the first time, sitting on their porch. We were politely treated as we waited several minutes for a seat. Once seated we ordered great steak and cheese grinders!! Best I’ve ever had! In spite of a bad review the steak was wonderfully tender and tasty! The server was extra attentive and our food was excellent overall.!! All I can say is “I wanna go back!

Great food at a very fair price! The parmesan garlic fries and the chicken wings are great! I would definitely also end your lunch/dinner with some ice cream! If you’re with a date, one to share should definitely be enough after a good meal!

We found Firts & Last Tavern serendipitously, while traveling. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the ambiance very nice. We will definitely keep this on our list of to-return places for next time we are in the area.

Went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. Had to wait for a little while but it was worth it.

Despite how hectic it was the waitress was quick and very nice. Split a pizza and it came out perfectly. Lot of other good choices on the menu as well, will definitely be back to try more.

This is simply one of my favorite restaurants of all time. When I tell you I could literally drink their tomato sauce it’s so good but over their fresh pasta omg it’s like heaven!!! Ask about the family dinners. They are great to have when you don’t feel like cooking.

Attended a special "Beer" dinner here. The food that was served was delicious. There is some outdoor seating on the front deck but really no view to speak of but still pleasant. Nice bar area. I can see spending happy hour here with some friends. Cant wait to try it for a full dinner.
