ShopRite of East Hartford

I'm a recently new shopper at this establishment, which is 6ish miles from my home. I am more than happy making the trip as the store is always clean, and customer service is superb.
As well as a bonus for me... I found my favorite cheese that Stop n Shop doesn't carry anymore.

Butcher department helped out with something last minute that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Appreciate the help and will definitely come back. Thanks!!

I find it to be very convenient of course I live nearby. But also their quality in the meats are much better than stop & shop which is also near me. I find I save money shopping there. Even with stop & shops gas points. But my big question is what happened to Quisp cereal. I ask y'all please to bring it back I know that you can barely keep it on the shelf everybody from the '60s and '70s want it. Please explain why. If I have to I guess I will have to get it online which sucks.

Very clean. Workers are very nice. Shelves are usually full and organized. Occasionally they don't have some of the same items in looking for but I'd say 9 times out of 10 they have everything in looking for

This Shop Rite usually has everything I need and when you shop at less busy times of the day it's just an easy in and out place to get through. Prices seem better than the Stop and Shop nearby as well.

Amazing store and staff. Had a wonderful cashier who was extremely helpful. While using self checkout he entertained my 2 year old son and helped me get out of there super quick. Never had that amazing type of service from a cashier anywhere else. Made my entire day. Going to be making the trip back there every grocery trip from now on.

Staff is generally friendly and helpful. I am always offered a bit of cheese or meat to taste when ordering from the deli, the employees in produce always check the back for more stock for me without hesitation and the staff in the seafood department are very friendly and attentive as well. Even the employees who bring in the shopping carts are nice and always greet me when I'm entering or leaving the store and offer to take my cart for me.

I am familiar with this store and, better yet, they are with me. I am somewhat disabled and they know it and I can't remember the last time I asked for help and somebody didn't help me find what I need and even when I haven't asked and they noticed I did. Joe in the Deli is wonderful (and I always get a slice of whatever I've ordered because I'm always going shopping when I haven't eaten. ) The store is clean and well organized, and with the exception of Aldi, has great prices and sales. But as I have no transportation and take the ADA vans, I like to only spend money for major shopping once a month.

Every time I come to this grocery store, everything is well stocked and the employees are friendly. Make sure you sign up for their store loyalty card so you get all the sale prices. On my last trip, I spent $17 after a total savings of $10. Can't beat that! Obviously you wouldn't come here if you don't live in the area, but if you're in the Glastonbury or East Hartford area, it's worth doing your grocery shopping here.

Tried to find 3.5" disc coffee filters for my electric percolator...called 2 major grocery chains and 4 hardware stores. I even went to PC Richardson where I had purchased the percolator, they referred me to their sales and parts department so they could order them for me. I told them I could look online myself. All of them told me that the K-Cups are the wave of the future. Well not for me. I like a HOT cup of coffee NOT lukewarm. I went to ShopRite. and was THRILLED they have their very own brand of 3.5 in disc coffee filters at $0.99 a bag. I grabbed 6 of them what a pleasant surprise!

This review is for the entire supermarket. I always find great prices, a clean, tidy store, and a full selection of items here. Meat, fish, and produce are always fresh and in my experience stay fresh longer than some other supermarkets I've visited. Staff is always very polite and helpful. On one occasion, an item in my cart wasn't entered into their price database. I happened to remember the price on the item, and the manager took 25% off of the price I quoted just as a gesture of customer appreciation (I guess...)! The small things mean a lot.

I don't know why I don't shop here more often! The selection of Bob's Red Mill grains and flour is unprecedented and at an excellent price. There was not one thing I was looking for that I didn't find and things I had forgotten that I needed that I found. Most excellent!

Great place ... Prices lower than STP n Shop and Big Y. Customer service excellent!

I would like to share my deepest appreciation to Ana from the Bakery Department. I am continuously amazed by her work. Each time I have worked with her, its a true collaboration. I talk to her about a vision, she adds her thoughts, then BAM its an amazing cake. I am always amazed and surprised by the final product. I will continue to work with Ana as well as recommend others to her. THANK YOU ANA!

I can safely say that this is my favourite ShopRite in my area. They carry a fantastic selection of foods that can be used in every sort of dish from Asian to Latino to contemporary American.

The meat section is huge, as for dairy and dry goods, some of which you can't find at other stores.

My only question is; where are the salted in shell peanuts? All I could find was roasted and raw. Not a deal breaker though, I love this ShopRite!

This location is great because of having many other stores it very convenient.Shop Rite . This supermarket has Alot of sales I mean Alot. All of the vegetables are fresh and the meats. All the employees are very friendly.This is going to be my main store for groceries

Best prices around. No glitz no glammor but produce is fresh and meat cuts are very good. Their Black Bear cold cuts are very good as well. We dont buy any bakery so cant comment either way.
