Carousel Coffee Shop in Southington is a great hidden spot! Service is just about the friendliest you will find anywhere. Breakfast is served quickly. Coffee is very hot which is fantastic. Pancakes are fill the entire plate big and taste great. Home fries are a little more like real cooked potatoes rather than fried and crispy but they definitely taste good. Eggs cooked correctly. Bacon was a bit undercooked but good sized pieces. Service alone makes The Carousel Coffee Shop worth a visit.

Best breakfast in Southington hands down. Service (Sharon and Ashley) is wonderful, food is always hot and delicious and portions are just right. Joe, your doing an excellent job! I'd your in the area make sure you visit!!

I was in the mood for an authentic breakfast sandwich and tried Carousel Coffee Shop and it delivered!! The sandwich was delicious!! Toasted hard roll, choice of cheese (I chose swiss), 2 eggs (over medium) and 4 sausage links!! The service was outstanding!! More than one server took care of me, friendly, quick, offered to warm up my tea, brought check without asking. Goo old fashioned customer service with a smile!! Highly recommend!!

I've lived in Southington since 2003 and never knew this was a restaurant. The breakfast was delicious, the server was so sweet and friendly. Looking forward to more breakfast trips here.

First time at Carousel and we had their breakfast sandwiches and home fries. I was so impressed I had to write this review! The food was so good! Best home fries ever! Everything was so fresh, food was hot, service was perfect and the price was excellent. Really good old school homemade breakfast. I will definitely be back! YUMMY!!!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Hands down the best breakfast in Southington, I don’t care what anyone says. My husband and I go here religiously on the weekends and never once did we wait for a table, have a messed up order, or deal with rude staff (like some places in town). The people who work here seem genuinely happy, like they actually care about what they are doing. They are super attentive, always there to refill your coffee before you’re done. They are never “too busy” to make your food properly and accurately, and do it all in no time at all. I’m not sure what happens behind the kitchen wall in this place, but it must be some well-oiled machine that is consistent EVERY SINGLE DAY. We love it here. Cash only- but great food. Great prices. And wonderful people!!!!!!!!!!

New Years day, quite and clean, waitress very friendly. The food was good, goods portion for the price, loved the pancakes, loved the setting. Old school atmosphere.

I went here for breakfast. We ordered hash and eggs, Senior special and coffee. Homefries were very good. Coffee was perfect. Very reasonably priced. Nice wait staff. Hidden gem that's in plain sight.

Best quick breakfast. No frills. Just a down home greasy spoon type place! Watch out for the pancakes, the 'small' is about 10"! Eggs were cooked perfectly!
