Luna Pizza - West Hartford

What a fabulous gem in town. Great food and great location. They hosted our hot wing challenge for American Cancer Society fundraiser and the friends of feeney podcast. The wings are fanatics and we had the potato pizza which was perfect for right before eating da bomb wings. Damn those were hot. The meatball was a good size and very tasty as well. Can't wait to taste more

Some of the best pizza we ever had. Very fast service. There was no pizza left over to take home. We are differently going to be returning here very soon and very often.

We had the white pie with salmon. Delicious! And ready for me to pick up right on time. I also like that they answer the phone and take their own orders rather than give a cut to a third party service that doesn't know the product or the customer. Keep it real, Luna!

Still one of the best in town!! It has changed over the years but they consistently give good food. Also every interaction I’ve had with an employee has been nothing but positive. Would definitely recommend! Also their wings are so good!

Every time that we get the pizza, it is cooked perfectly - the crust isn't too burnt and yet it is crispy. I'm more of a margherita pizza and red sauce fanatic, so those are my go-to's here.

Great pizzas and salads. Thin crust all the way here, and good, fresh salads. You're not going to find a huge variety of foods here, pizzas tend to be the main thing although they've expanded their menu over the years.
Definitely one of the best places in West Hartford for thin crust pizza.

Patrick was an excellent server! Tevin made me a delicious medium pizza within minutes. Both men deserve promotions.

Dining room is classic old world pizzaria. Good room for parties of 4-8. Bar area is for singles and doubles.

Menu has expanded and now has full Italian dinners.

Price is what you should expect from West Hartford but hands down worth it.

Beer and wine list is decent for a small restaurant.

10 out 10 you'll find me here again.

Man, this review page is a trip. Skip through the petty stuff and read this: Luna Pizza makes the best pie in CT. They cook their pizzas in an old school brick oven, the classic thin crust is perfect and flavorful, the sauce is tangy and tasty, and the cheese is fresh. Help yourself to a meatball app as well- moist and spiced perfectly. That's all there is to it. Sit on the patio, watch the WeHa yuppies stroll by, and have a local beer while you wait. Sounds like some of you need one.

Hands down one of THE BEST authentic European (old world) style pizzas I've had in a very very long time. Certainly the best in New England by far, and I get around.

Had Luna for the first time today. We had heard good things but just never got around to it. We expected satisfaction but it surpassed that. It was the best pizza we‘ve had in the Hartford area and we like a good number of places here. The crust was perfect, the toppings so generous and the server from Belarus was a gem in terms of customer service and making us happy. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would put it: „I‘ll be back“!

I only had lunas once. Like 20 years ago. I went to Braeburn. Went over a classmate house after school and we got lunas. The taste was so good I’ll never forget lunas taste. I went to school in weha k-12 but never lived in weha so only had lunas that one time.

The flavor was a Parmesan garlic flavour. Mmmmn! If I can go there and get that same pizza I would and that was like 2002 I remember that taste.

They made my pizza wrong and when i call the girl to let her know she said sorry next time we will do better. Wow

Pizza was delish. Crust, Sauce were perfect, as was the service. That sauce is not like red tomato sauce, but fine, chopped, fresh tomatoes. My only complaint was they skimped on the sausage. We ordered a large pizza and if there were 10 pieces of sausage on the pizza I’d be surprised. It was very disappointing as we love Luna Pizza and will continue going, highly recommend.

Probably the best pizza in the greater Hartford area. You're not going to get much better in CT except in New Haven. This place gives you the nice "leoparding" or ever so light almost burned crust that has so much flavor, and their sauce is excellent too. Expect a thin, flavorful pizza.

So, I live just around the corner from Pepe’s in Elmwood. Today we had a hankering for some high quality pizza...we tried calling and they directed to their website, where they show us the possibility of a pepperoni pizza but no way to order it, due to a “pepperoni” shortage. We decided to go with Luna and we were not at all disappointed. They had everything we needed —pepperoni included. We walked in and had a beer while we waited to take out our pizza. Crust was excellent, sauce was a little sweeter and the pepperoni was a bit spicier than expected but delicious. We got a small pizza (in addition to the medium pepperoni) with loads of toppings and it was delicious (and the crust was not burnt). We are new believers. Thanks, Luna. We will be back.

I love a good calamari and this place does it right. It was light, crispy and cooked to perfection. I am definitely going back again.
