Really cute place with nice decor. You definitely know you're in a Mexican restaurant. There were only two people working so the service was a little slow but the food and drinks were excellent.

Been here already 3 times in a row after the first visit I was so shocked like this isn't just Mexican food is real food made by real people with real love . I MORE THAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT IT IS THE SPOT . The flavors are so deep and layered perfectly, if you never been you was try and let me tell that the MOLE HERE IS TO DIE FOR 🔥🔥🔥🔥

What a gem! We came on a Friday and was concerned as it was not busy. This actually gave us a chance to meet and talk to the owner. The food and drinks were phenomenal!

WOW! The flavor! Super excited to discover this incredible restaurant. Best Mexican food we’ve ever had. The staff was very friendly and owner even came out to chat with us. The food was perfection! We can’t wait to return.

My husband found this gem of a restaurant while passing by one day. We came in on a Friday, and (not going to lie) I was a bit concerned that it wasn't busy. We were seated right away and ordered margaritas. They were delicious. A little small for my liking, but they did pack a punch. The chips were warm and the salsa tasted freshly made. Our meals were exceptional. I had the Burro Don Bigote and my husband had the Arrachera. We enjoyed the food very much. Service was great as well. We will be back.

This was my first time trying out Don Bigotes. We opted for take out this time around. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The salsa was the best I’ve had in a long time. The rice and beans were tasty 😋. The taco meal was great bc you were able to pick different fillings. Whatever you order you won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit.

YESSSSS!!!! Please DO yourself a favor and stop by to this restaurant. We were lucky enough to meet the owner and he explained the background of the menu and his passion for Aunthentic Mexican food. We started off with the aguachiles and used the left over juice for our tacos 🤤 🤤 🤤. Then we proceeded with the tacos 🌮. The house spicy margaritas were my favorite. They have plenty of parking space and the entrance is located on the rear side. We will definitely be back.

We are a family that enjoys new culinary experiences and Don Bigote is a new favorite. We saw the waitstaff out front taking pictures and then noticed the Grand Opening sign. I never imagined we would be the first customers! The food was AWESOME and the waitstaff was great also. From our family to yours we hope you have continued success!

I am so happy we decided to try this place out. The stuffed peppers were like nothing we had before. The guac and salsa were fresh and amazing. The spicy rice was so good. Steak and onions were cooked just right and the portions were huge. Cannot wait to go back.

Had a great lunch at Don Bigote in Plainville, CT. Both had taco orders that came with rice and beans in the side. 1st was Fish Tacos. You get 3 decent sized tacos with lots of fish and a nice mango salsa. 2nd was a variety from LA Taqueria. You get to choose from 5 different "flavors". They are smaller sized but with 5 total you get enough to eat. Had 3 asada, 1 chorizo and 1 suadero. All of them tasted great and by far the suadero one tasted the best! (next time I think all 5 will be the suadero). The sauces for the tacos were great additions to them. All food items tasted fresh and authentic. For what it's worth they followed all covid protocols perfectly. Definitely will be back again.

Seriously good Mexican food. The owner is passionate about his menu and the food is consistently good . And reasonable prices. Best Mexican restaurant around! He made flan the night I was there an it was so unbelievably good!

Just stopped here for a quick bite after Lake Compounce. The food was REALLY good. I got the grilled fish tacos (honestly better than fried ones) and my boyfriend got pastor.

The owner waited on us at the bar and was a genuine, nice guy! We wish him and his business the best. Eat here!

A perfect dining experience for my wife's birthday. The food was spot on but the highlight was the great engagement of the owner with us. Great recommendations and discussion about Mexican foods.

People, what are you waiting for? This place is terrific. We've been twice for dinner and they do a great job. The service is prompt and attentive, the food is a big (big!) step beyond "the usual". Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. You can taste the passion and love that goes into making the food. I ordered the Al Pastor tacos and my sister ordered the seafood Chimi, both were delicious. We willl definitely be coming back here in the future!

My apologies to the owner for forgetting his name- but he was incredibly attentive and all four meals we ordered were prepared beautifully and delicious! We love most Mexican food, but especially loved the special attention to create a unique menu . . . we had the grilled shrimp with spicy rice, blackened chicken with spicy rice and a chicken burrito. All were hot and presentation was impressive. Hard working people who really care about their customers. House Margaritas were great too! Looking forward to our next visit *****
