Gnazzo Food Center

This grocery store has been in Plainville a very long time and has that local grocery store feel and is still better than the big chain stores . I love the fresh meats and there store made sausages they offer also there line up of different types of Italian foods try the Italian bread it’s always made fresh and there Martin Rosol’s kielbasa is always available when sometimes the bigger store runout of stock.

Great hometown family owned store. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food selections include hand cut meats, store baked pastries and store made salads.

You can't beat local. Been around since 1934 and still going. You just have to know what it isn't, as much as you have up know what it is. It isn't a Whole Foods or a Big Y, and it doesn't have to be. It makes up for what these big chains possess just in their local approach to their people. They make it easy, with no nonsense to sales and bargains. Best meat around, too. You can't go wrong there.

Clean store, great staff. You can find cheaper meats here than other main stores. Great CT brand milk. Best homemade brownies.

A very special grocery store. Small town flavor with friendly employees, great meat department and excellent produce. I am thrilled they exist. I pay a bit more than a big grocery store but it is worth it. Plus they have great sales on items I use so it works out in the end. Been shopping there since the old store - 1973 was when I started there. Still a fan!

The store is so clean and the staff so friendly. The meats are fresh, the deli is delicious. The ready made salads will fill you up for lunch. There's enough for two people or two meals. Will be coming back to this store a lot, now that I've been there. Much more friendly then big stores.

It's a great little Hometown Store with friendly employees. It's not a giant changed or nor a big box store so you won't get the lowest prices on anything but if you only need a few things and you don't want to walk around a giant chain store this is definitely the place. Produce is great and they frequently have good sales on other items. Their meat selection and price is excellent

Gnazzos is a great little grocery store, family owned and the bakery is top notch and Deli has what you need and great service under Great Management- Kieth Gnazzo, makes this place one to visit.

Great grocery store. Wonderful meats, fruits and bakery. The prepared foods are also great in a pinch. Customer service is top notch. They always have a friendly hello and willing to help you find something. Small enough to get in and out in a reasonable time and they stock all the basics with a lot of specialty items in between! Always a good experience to shop at Gnazzo's.

Very nice IGA grocer. Excellent produce, seems to have local produce when available. Really great meat selection and quality, with good sales and super helpful butcher. Top notch deli & bakery too. Prepared foods - good variety, and all I have tried have been very good. Really nothing I don't like about this store except their freezer selection is a little slim. Excellent place to shop! Wish I lived closer!

Well organized food store with lots of prepared meals . staff wears matching aprons reminds me.of the good old days. This is an IGA store.

I live at this store ! I'm easily there 3 days a week picking up various items . They make you feel like family ! I love all the people at the deli counter they are so pleasant ! The managers always say hi and ask if you need help. I will always support this local gem!
