Green Bamboo Asian Cuisine

Today was the first time trying Green Bamboo Asian Cuisine. We ordered two dishes for lunch, Singapore Mei Fun and Vegetable Drunken Noodle. We really enjoyed both dishes. The Singapore Mei Fun had the right amount spiciness. It was tasty and not overly spicy. The vegetable Drunken Noodle was not greasy and was delicious. Some places donot know how to cook broad rice noodle and saturate the dish with too much oil. This place got both dishes right. The dishes were more than the two of us could finish. Tasty and plentiful! Also the young man who took the order was polite as well as friendly. This restaurant made a good first impression. We will definitely come back here!

Outstanding food. I came here on a whim around 9:30pm on a completely dead Saturday Night and I ordered General Tso's Chicken. It was cooked hot and perfectly. Lately I had given up on certain Chinese food restaurants (I will not mention here) in the Simsbury / Avon area because of lack of quality. Green Bamboo is the best in the area for sure. I will be returning here often!

I am so excited these folks are here! We ordered a number of dishes - the Walnut Shrimp AMAZING!!! Not meant to be spicy but the flavor combo just great. The vegy Yellow Curry Tofu really good even if you don't like tofu. Curry sauce just so good the tofu laps it up. Perfect. Vegy fried rice could have used more vegys - that is the only negative. Delivery was as expected. And the fact they deliver trumps all! So glad these folks are in the nieghborhood!!

I've ordered here several times since they've opened and each time has been amazing!! Definitely my new favorite in the area, and they can make quite a few dishes gluten free which is so hard to find!! I have celiac and haven't had any issues. Highly recommend

Thought we would try out our new Asian Cuisine restaurant in town tonight. It was great! Drunken Noodles... Mmm... A few different menu items than what I expected, like no beef teriyaki, but I was pleased with my meal and so we're my kids. We will definitely be back.

It was a great experience! Really like the interior, just noticed it was there today so we decided to try it. Very nice staff, good customer service, the food was done in a timely manner and is delicious. Definitely our new favorite local Chinese take out!

So good! We tried many different items on the menu and everything was great! The steamed dumplings were the best I’ve ever tasted. We will definitely be going back often.

Very good quality. We are a picky family and very impressed by quality of food. We needed a good Asian, Chinese restaurant nearby. Hope they do well. Do not listen to negative reviews.

Food was great, arrived neatly packaged and the order was correct. We appreciated that they sent complimentary noodles and cookies :) will order again!

Excellent food and huge portions! Easy to order online. Nice to have the option of Chinese and Thai dishes at one place.

Just tried Green bamboo for the first time, they are the new Asian place in the Walmart parking lot in Avon. Absolutely fantastic, if you don't try this place you're cheating yourself.

We ordered basil fried rice with wings lunch special... never received the basil fried rice but instead was given pork fried rice that was bland and lacking flavor .. The wings were ok ..the pricing was high as well I spent $18.00 for just the 2 items for the lunch special.... I suggest check your order before you leave!

Sorry food was awful. We didn't even eat much and threw it out. Tofu tasted spoiled. And the pad thai was dry and flavorless
