Ichiro Hibachi & Sushi

My family went here for Hibachi (with the chef preparing food at the Hibachi table) and had a very good experience. The food was good and drinks were reasonably priced for West Hartford and strong. The chef was entertaining and put on a good show. The environment was nice but also kid friendly. There is a 20% service fee for dining in the Hibachi showroom as other reviewers have noted, however there is a sign stating that at the entrance and the server was up front about it as well, so it wasn't a surprise and does make sense given the extra service as part of the experience.
I'll definitely come back in the near future!

We went for lunch for my shorties birthday and we were all very happy with this place. First time coming as our regular place was closed. This location was worth it! My spicy tuna was solid, but my little dudes tuna avacado roll was fantastic! I got the veggie hibachi and was it was great needless to say had left overs for dinner. My daughter had the steak which was cooked right and was good meat, my older son had the chicken which was also good. Very impressed and satisfied.

We had an 18th birthday party for my grandson. The wait staff was excellent, attentive and accommodating. We never felt rushed or overlooked at all. Great experience with delicious food!!!

Hibachi chef was great and kept us entertained. Very lively and entertaining night with surrounding parties. Food was great and dinner portions are HUGE. Servers were attentive and friendly.

***not sure if this is only hibachi, but there is a 20% service fee that is charged AUTOMATICALLY to your bill. We were told this AFTER we got the check.

I thoroughly enjoyed the very good sushi and was impressed by the diverse and visually appealing food display. The entire experience was complemented by a fun and enjoyable atmospherey that's kid friendly. Highly recommended!

Great and not busy place. Very delicious food. We have tried different sushi rolls and they were fresh and tasty. Udon noodles were amazing. Friendly service and also delicious deserts. They have happy hours from 2pm to 5 pm when they serve many yummy sushi for up to a half price and bottled beer for only $2.50

Nice atmosphere, with good food and very good portions as you can see in my pictures. Unfortunately I cannot rate or say anything about three hibachi chef and/or any performance associated with this particular review as I declined and simply sat at an open table. I would return again if given the chance.

Visited West Hartford during a week in the area for work. Party of 3, seated immediately just after peak dinner hours. Sushi was great and the hibachi experience was worth the price! Couldn't recommend Ichiro any more - will definitely be visiting the next time I'm in the area!

The families first experience with Hibachi was a good one. Friendly staff, entertaining chefs good food. Remember, more Saki, more happy!

It’s close by, and worth a drive. Located where there is lots to do, beautiful area in Connecticut! They are friendly and cooks are FUN!

Nice! This place is a sushi lovers destination. Great menu alot of sushi options and all the plates come out wonderfully decorated looking almost to good to eat. Outside dining at its best.

I was impressed with the hibachi chef cooking skills. The Korean hot and spicy soup was not good.

Love it. The guy that was cooking was funny and very entertaining, he said his name was Jacky Chang lol 🤣😆. While he cook our food he was just cracking jokes after joke's, I thought I was at the funny bones. It was a good experience, really good food. If anyone recognize the cook please let me know his name. when I go back I want him to be our cook. The rest of the other cooks was not funny like our Jacky Chang.

Delicious food. Good atmosphere. The west hartford center sushi roll is worth every penny.
