First & Last Tavern Avon

Love this place. Went there for a wedding after party and had a great time. Love the atmosphere and the wings and pizza were terrific. The folks behind the bar were exceptional and made quick work of attending to a large crowd. Thanks for a great time!

Great 👍 service and pasta and soup

90 degrees outside, no heads up that their ac is broken until we ordered, sweating. Seems this is a regular thing….a sign in the door would have been great. Many many many more options in this area, we won’t be back.

we only order take-out these days, due to covid. There are 3 or 4 places we trust, and First and Last is one of them. The quality of the food is always exceptional. Shout outs for the salmon, all pasta dishes and an occasional pizza with fresh and tasty veggies. I'm not crazy about the complimentary bread, but I come for the food, not the bread.

Really good food, went here on a spur of the moment one afternoon. Got the Cajun burger and I was not disappointed. Cool sports vintage vibe where we sat, would gladly enjoy another casual meal here.

The atmosphere is wonderfully charming. Old tavern with a touch of class. Huge with outdoor seating. Staff was extremely friendly and food was excellent. Had pizza and antipasto. Pizza was thin crust which I loved and flavor of sauce was very good. Very very tasty pizza. Different than ordinary take out pizza. Recommend for lunch or dinner

Went to a party at the restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. It's a smaller space than some but had a great atmosphere. I'd recommend it to other people.

Katie was a fantastic waitress! Very attentive and kind. The food was delicious too. We will definitely be back!

We had a last minute change in funeral arrangements and needed to find a place that could handle 50+ for lunch with only a day's notice. I spoke with Kurt on the phone and knew instantly that he was the right guy to work with. He and the staff bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. They set us up in the private room and even though we arrived a half hour early, the servers immediately started taking drink orders and getting food ready. They timed everything wonderfully, we didn't have to ask for anything. The food was delicious and I heard nothing but compliments from my family and friends at the great selection I made when choosing First & Last. Thank you Kurt & Staff - you're doing a great job!!

Sat in the bar area just so we could see the outside, onside it is darker, and it was a nice sunny early evening. We had a happy hour cocktail, shared a chop salad and pizza, it was delicious! Our waitress was very pleasant and fun!

We love eating here. Some of the very best pizza and wings along with ravioli. My girlfriend always enjoys the salmon.
Very good waitstaff. The hostess we generally see could be much more friendly.

wonderful service and delicious food with an excellent menu variety. friendly wait staff knowledgeable kitchen staff and lovely bar tenders all of whom keep good company at this leading restaurant. dining in or taking out even parties big or small a must for any occasion keep up the good work.

Great house wine paired with calamari and lasagna made for an amazing late lunch/ early dinner. Very quiet and clean establishment and the service was friendly and polite. Will definitely come back.

One gal behind the bar & waiting on at least 5 tables. She remained pleasant, efficient & professional. Our lunches were as described & delicious. The raisin bread alone was worth the stop!

Let me preface my review by saying that my job requires me to travel a great deal. I live in the New Orleans area and my home town is known for the cuisine.These things do not make me an expert by any stretch of the imagination but I can say that I'm accustomed to good restaurants and finding a good meal when traveling is disappointing more often than not.
I read the reviews here on google and although a few said the service was hit and miss, they all said the food was good so I decided to give it a try. My first impression was the lack of a hostess at the front door when I walked in and when she did appear she asked me if I needed something. I said I'd like a table. OH! (here we go, I thought). I was seated at a small wobbly table at the top of the stairs, 2 menus were placed on my table and she left. Then seconds later my waitress appeared and things went uphill from there. When I asked for suggestions she didn't just automatically rattle off the most expensive items on the menu, she gave good advice. The lasagna, served with a salad, was very meaty and delicious. There was a basket of assorted breads which were hot and tasty. Although I wouldn't recommend sitting at the same table, I did have the opportunity to see much of the food being served elsewhere in the restaurant (as I was on the path from the kitchen) and everything looked great. As for the service, my waitress was fast, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't wait for attention at any time during my visit and had everything I wanted. Thanks for a good meal!

We had a small party for my Mother's 95th birthday. The pizza & drinks were great. They were very accommodating with great service!
