Upscale, yet comfortable and inviting Italian restaurant located in Avon on Rt 44. Very friendly and attentive staff! So many good dishes and drinks on the menu it was hard to choose. I will definitely need to come back to try the other dishes. If you like chocolate cake, This. Is. The. Bomb! So moist and just the right balance of frosting to cake. Great key west martini. Again, so many great drink choices! The food was very tasty and had great flavors.

My daughter and I were in the area..I looked up restaurants near me and let me say.. reviews are important..this restaurant was a great choice.. the Atmosphere Aawweesssoommeee... loved the music!! The freshness of the food was on point.. the portion for the price.. I'm a foody. I love to eat.. but I shouldn't complain.. because this restaurant does deserves all the stars.. If im in the area.. Definitely !! Returning!! Try them, you won't be disappointed!

We had a lovely evening with friends at Amici Italian grill. Our server, Beth, was outstanding, so pleasant and helpful. Our meals were absolutely delicious. Thank you for such a great experience. We look forward to seeing you again.

What a fantastic experience! It has been at least ten years since I’ve eaten here. I forgot how tasty everything was, from the beautiful service, waitstaff, and the hostess.

I loved the ravioli, and my friend enjoyed the shrimp.

Best meal I have had in awhile and I go out at least 3 times a week. Great service, shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly, pasta aldente the way it should be. Not precooked. Best tiramisu from anywhere from Avon to West Hartford. Drinks are poured generously and not overpriced. My first time at this location. But will be a regular, even at 20 to 30 mins away. And very nice atmosphere quiet yet casual.

Beautiful restaurant food was delicious 😋 waitresses are very friendly my daughter had chicken parmesean loved it and we also ordered cajun steak and lasagna also penne augustino very good and also jumbo shrimp scampi. Would definitely go there again.

The staff made us feel at home, the food was excellent. The food was well seasoned and not bland or over sweet like most restaurants. Portion sizes were just right and the best French onion soup that I've had in a long while.

We needed food and couldn't find a restaurant that had a table. So we stopped at Amici and we could sit at the bar.
We had an excellent experience. Bar tender was top shelf:) as was the food. Will go there with a reservation next time.

It was our first experience here and won’t be the last! great service, friendly place and great great food. Key west Martini was the best. Well worth the wait for piping hot right from the oven Lasagna. I’m going back to try more from their menus.

This is AMAZING for the price point. We got the family meal to go and they sent us off like an Italian grandmother. Thank you guys for your hard work!

Best Italian food in Avon will always be from Amici’s! Chicken Marsala (with prosciutto) was cooked perfectly as well as the shrimp a’la vodka dish. And the sauces... WOW!!

Our waitress Sedona was a sweetheart who, even though she was busy, waited on us like we were the only ones in the restaurant. There was the tiniest thing that the kitchen had forgotten and she picked up on it immediately and apologized. Now that’s service!! Perfect dining experience - we’ll be back!

As far as CT goes a fantastic meal, friendly service and really good food. The decor is very nice as well aside from the brown paper over the table clothes.

Reacquainted myself with this establishment upon meeting up with friends I have not seen in 10 years. The restaurant is very clean, spacious, a variety of foods on the menu with lunch portions, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is more than accommodating. Each one of us ordered something different and all enjoyed our meals. If you like eggplant..get it here! Oh so very tasty!!! I definitely will be returning.

I have never had a bad meal at Amici. Staff is always friendly and professional, and knowledgeable about their wines/pairings. The Hostess at the front desk was super friendly. Highly recommended.

Our family stopped by Amici for dinner on Presidents Day. We were seated right away by the hostess and, a short time later, was greeted by our waitress, who was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We were served fresh warm bread with butter right away.

Our 6 year old ordered the kids' pasta (penne) with red sauce rather than the Alfredo. He liked it but was a little distracted by actual pieces of tomato in the sauce (kids). But it was tasty and a good portion.

My wife just opted for the calamari appetizer. It too was fresh, nicely presented. It was lightly breaded and made for a nice light meal.

I opted for something new to me, the Chicken Christina - chicken slices, spinach, chopped prosciutto, and linguini in a white wine sauce with butter. It was very nicely presented. The portion was a good size, enough to be filling but not over stuffed. It was tasty, but a little more sweet than I was expecting - not sugary but perhaps from the cooking wine. Overall, quite good.

The restaurant itself had plenty of customers yet still remained quite. allowing everyone to have pleasant, easy conversations without having to talk over other diners, the kitchen, or people watching sports at the bar.

Overall, an enjoyable dining experience.

This is a second time dining at Amicis and have not been disappointed. Excellent food at affordable cost. Waitresses are so friendly and accommodating. Their calamari was an excellent appetizer. Seafood dishes are creative and absolutely delicious. Homemade salad dressing. I will definitely return for more.

Now I can see why it is the number one Italian restaurant in Avon! Well deserved! The shrimp appetizer is amazing and the veal marsala my husband had was the best he had ever had!
