Great local shop with honest hard working people. Went in with a slow leak on a tire for a large SUV. They removed a nail, called me 45 minutes later for pickup and it only cost $20. 5 star experience and I'll be back when we need new tires. Thank you Modern Tire.

Excellent service. Scott and Brian are very nice and very helpful. Took our Tahoe in with a valve stem leak (a TF Tire screw up) and even though the shop was incredibly busy Scott took the car in and made the repair. Will recommend this shop to everyone. Well done!

Another great experience with Modern Tire I'm West Hartford. I had an issue with a belt that should have been simple but wasn't. The guys did a great job of communicating and finding solutions for me to get my car back on the road in really quick order.

My daughter is a student at UHart and is about 10 hours from us, her parents. When she had trouble putting air into one of her tires, she tried a couple of different gas station air pumps to no avail. I looked up "tire service" and "West Hartford" and Modern Tire WH was one of the first to pop up and had stellar ratings. So, I relayed the location and she headed over. She got a friendly greeting, was listened to as she explained her problem, and the tech immediately went out to do a visual inspection. He immediately found a small piece of rubber inside of the tire stem, pulled it out, and filled up her tire - no charge. Folks like this tech and businesses like Modern Tire need to know what a relief it is to parents of children studying far from home that thoughtful, considerate, and understanding professionals who treat customers with respect and kindness still exist. We are from Texas on a road trip and had a slow leak in our tire and this establishment was very helpful at getting us in and out quickly. Bryan was extremely helpful and cordial. So thankful we happened upon them.

These guys were great! Brian was so responsive and they turned my car around (all four brakes replaced) in less than a day! I will definitely be back!

I really appreciate Modern Tire and we're very new customers of theirs. So far they have done phenomenal work on all of our cars. We got oil changes and some more serious work on one of our cars that had to do with the muffler I think their customer service is phenomenal and the communication is like none other it might not be the least expensive place to go however in this day and age of impersonal service I think paying a very minimal amount extra if any, doesn't matter when you're getting great work and people who stand behind what they do. we certainly will be back and we have already recommended many friends to Modern Tire they're conveniently located right across from Whole Foods Market in Blue Back Square West Hartford. They take care of my boy's cars also. Great place. Thanks for the work. Would love to see you join the chamber.

I got my brakes done here and everything came out great! I talked to Brian on the phone and he was very knowledgeable and professional! I highly recommend Modern Tire!

The mechanics and front house staff here are excellent! My van was repaired in a timely manner at a VERY reasonable cost, and they gave me tips on how to maintain and look after my vehicle to help with it's longevity. I would absolutely recommend this location and facility to anyone who needs work done or an inspection done for your automotive needs.

My experience at Modern Tire was EXCELLENT. The service time was very reasonable and I was accommodated upon walking in. All the staff was very nice and the owner was super personable with me, but also with every customer that walked in as I waited. I will not hesitate to come here again. If your looking for a straight up full service shop this is the place to go in West Hartford. The prices were also very reasonable. Honestly I have nothing but good things to say from my experience, thank you Modern tire!

Had my first experience with Modern Tire yesterday and it was a great experience in an otherwise rough day. My 2009 Honda unexpectedly decided to have issues and I needed a tow to a mechanic. I called over to Modern and they agreed to take a look. Once the car got there they quickly diagnosed, called me and provided a few options to take care of the issue. Prices were reasonable, service was excellent. Everything was taken care of within 3 hours and I had my car back in the road.

I would highly recommend Modern based on my first experience. Being new to West Hartford I wasn’t sure where to go but now I have found my go to repair shop.

Fantastic first experience at Modern Tire WH with Brian and team. Brian was incredibly courteous and professional both over the phone and in-person, and took the time to explain what was wrong with my car and why. Prices were fair, and I was beyond impressed with their turnaround time. Will definitely be coming back for all future automotive needs!

Brian (careful there are 2 that answer the phone) was very helpful when I called and explained the issue we'd discovered with the lugs and bolts on our car after recently swapping off the winter tires. He was helpful as we arranged the scheduling, the work ended up costing less than estimated (we didn't need to replace all the parts) and the car was ready on time. Fast, friendly service...what more could you ask for?

I love this place. I do a lot of work on cars on my own so I'm picky about who works on the car, how well they do, and what they charge. I have never dreamed of writing a glowing review of an auto service shop but I will today: this place is fantastic. From the guys at the desk to the guys under the lift, the whole place is run well, the service is amazing, the quality of work is wonderful, and the prices are reasonable. I'm not saying it is cheap, I'm saying they are reasonable prices that make sense. I was in a bind this morning because my wife's tire was flat and he had a meeting to go to. I took the tire in and they fixed it in minutes and I was back home 10 minutes after I left. Today I needed "fast" and that's what I got, but with a smile and really helpful service. (They could have treated me as an annoying guy who needed to get the tire fixed in a rush but they didn't, they were all very cool.)

I've had brakes done there in the past -- as well as some other repairs -- and I've never been let down. Thanks, guys. I hope not to need to come in for any repairs soon but when I do I know where I'm going.

The guys here are SO nice!! I always come here when my tire pressure light comes on because I still don't know how to do it myself. Every time I come they are always willingly to help me and extremely nice! Because they are so nice I would use them for other services hands down.

My battery finally died on the coldest day of the year so far. I got jumped and drove it in. The guys at the front were super nice, helpful, and gave me options. They also noticed a headlamp out and asked if I needed it replaced. Not only was I able to just leave it there and they got everything done quickly but the car was well protected inside from any dirt. They were a little more expensive ($15) than a couple other garages I spoke with... but I trust their work and they are really nice to work with which, for me, is well worth a few extra dollars.
